A Major Disappointment

An English Gardner has good ideas; however, does not follow through with the originally agreed plan. He requests additional money, when he has already been paid for the particular assigned project. I wanted my front yard sod(ed) but he did not complete the job. I had a time line as I was running for a board position in my local HOA. His work turned out to be a source of embarassment for me. Three weeks, and the job still is not done. Today, I spent the morning mowing edging, and clearing up the yard, so that I can reseed and sod the rest of the yard. My husband and I are Seniors and were hoping not to have to do all this work ourselves, as we both have health issues.

From the Owner

Hi Mat B here from An English Gardener.

In order to raise our profile, I will be requesting our clients to post reviews on how they feel about our work. It is important for me to let you know about both the quality of our work and our work ethic. These are genuine reviews with no coaching from me, happily!

We love what we do and proudly put the job before the profit margin. It's not all about money in the end. Through our work we often make friends with our clients because we care that much. Service & attention to detail is everything to me and I won't rest until my client is happy.

I am very much a hands on owner working right besides my employees. Not only do I communicate with my clients throughout a project, but I feel strongly in being proactive in pointing out issues I feel our clients should be aware of as they arise. A non functioning drip head may cost a client to lose a mature tree which could end up costing them hundreds to replace. If I see a problem, you'll know about it!

Landscapes need constant attention both on the mechanics and vegetation especially here in the desert of Las Vegas. No matter who you use, just make sure they know what they are doing. Cheapest isn't always best...I've seen too many bad jobs to know that for a fact.

I look forward to meeting you. More importantly, I want to earn your trust and your business. We install, we maintain, you enjoy!

Sincerely

Mat B

An English Gardner is a great company!

An English Garner , is a very professional landscape company. They did ours in May and it was done in a timely fashion with fair competitive pricing for their services. What I appreciated most was Mat's knowledge of product for what our needs and wants were. He helped us make the right decisions, by providing us with choices that worked for us. He answers questions and has great follow up. We will be using An English Gardner, for more landscaping in the very near future.

Excellent Service

I needed my backyard landscaped and wanted to hire a licensed company because i have been high and dry in the past with the "cheaper" but unlicensed companies. I used the English Gardener to do landscape work on my backyard after I took three other bids. Not only did they come in at the best price but i also felt that they were able to produce the best quality of work. Their customer service and communication was great throughout the entire process, even after I gave them the check. They showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company, they are licensed and insured and really know their stuff !!

Incredible Job with My Backyard

I had left my yard go for way too long. Between the dead grass, weeds and an inefficient sprinkler system, I didn't know where to start. It took about 6 months of my wifes requests to make something happen. Of course, I am way to busy with work, traveling often and like to spend my limited time off with my wife and kids - not undertaking major landscaping efforts that I am not equipped to do. Matt and his team at The English Gardner was the perfect choice, and I did interview three companies. Other than that cool English accent, I like his common sense approach to solutions. Instead of making it seem so much more than it was, he just handled it at a price that I feel was better than what I would of gotten elsewhere. Was he the cheapest? No, but I have a beautiful yard not that is all set up and I really feel he over-delivered. By the way, I am a stickler for things and he was always accommodating and provided even better ways to go about things. Great guy!

No worries, excellent care and work

I was referred to "An English Gardener" via a friend and now the owner and his wife are good friends of mine! How often does that happen?! Only when the service and people are truly that friendlly and caring.

I needed landscaping, an above ground pool installed, and sprinkler/drip system repair. Mat, the owner, came over and had everything up and running within just a few hours and has been by periodically to make sure everything was running properly. And when I had a problem, he was quick to fix it. And the pricing is extremely affordable.

If you choose An English Gardener, I guarantee you will be so happy you did!
