Provided by SuperpagesTrue Cox has deplorable Customer Service. It is not Cox you are talking to when you call. They outsource to another Co. who handles C.S. I got so disgusted with C.S. that I found the location/name of officers of the main office, complained and learned this. I explained their help was lazy, made excuses, dragged out for 4 wks fixing my new service, didn't know what they were doing, asked repetitive ?s, found they forgot to flip a switch to turn on (after 5 technical call sessions!) and when still didn't work properly, then canceled apts to fix my cable/internet connection without telling me TWICE. They are utterly rude, tell you they can't charge you anything unless you give permission 1st to repair something they state is your problem not theirs upon visiting, you don't get repairs, they can't find the problem, they bill you anyway. It is a constant battle for overpriced service with COX. I am searching hard for better options than this and Sprint in Henderson, NV. Where did CS go?

Provided by SuperpagesI recently switched to Cox to take advantage of the bundle pkg ( phone, cable and high speed internet). I too, was told I wouldn't be billed for installation, etc. Once I got my bill, I realized I was charged. I called Cox and was on the phone for over an hour trying to understand my bill. Every single representative seemed as if they had minimal training and no one was able to assist me. As a result, I paid the bill to alleviate the headache. Cox has very poor customer service and every time I call, there is something else to complain about. They need more training and need to consider changing their starting salary. Maybe that will get quality people in there that will represent Cox in a positive light.

Provided by SuperpagesMy husband and I had transfered apartments and the cable was supposed to be working. It wasnt and we called cox to let them know. they had told us that this was not our fault and that we would not be charged for this inconvienience. The person that my husband had talked to on the phone and the person that came out on site for us both had told us we would not be paying the $50 that they would normally charge because this was not out fault. We got our bill and now they are charging us. Take this into consideration and watch them because they will take your money anyway that they can. Also to make matters worse the lady that my husband talked to on the phone to let them know was very rude and was not at all helpful to us in any way. They are the worst company out there.
