Provided by YP.comI came across this place about 1 1/2 years ago and I love it. Shannon is wonderful. She listens and has always done a fabulous job with my color and cut. I used to think that I was awful with hair, but when you have a good cut it looks great! Love this place and Shannon!!!

Provided by YPmobileNo one greets you. All te girls bs outside smoking cigs while you wait for service then they tell you you've missed your appointment. Very rude!! Wouldn't let these people touch my dogs hair!

Provided by YP.comvery very dirty, and the lighting in there just made my color look horrible. I forgot her name who did the color and it was even more horrible when I got home. It's a fun atmosphere but lots of drama I think in there. Wouldn't recommend children going in there. I don't think I'll go back!

Provided by YP.comI had lived in Vegas for 3 years and had bopped around from one lame, overpriced salon to another. As many other commentators already mentioned, I didn't want wine, fluff or to wait for weeks to finally get an appointment only to have the person not listen to me at all. I just wanted a haircut!
I found Curl Up & Dye on the internet and was immediately attracted by the photos of work on their website (I didn't want anything quite that extreme...but it's good to know the stylists are that talented!). I was not let down. I left there with my hair looking identical to the picture I brought in!
I've now been going there almost a year. They are friendly, professional and very, very talented! They are good at letting you "squeeze" in (I don't know how many times I've asked, "Can I have an appointment today?" and had it happen, rather than the places that want you to wait 6 months just to get in the door. ).
Another thing I love, is that they actually do a style you can maintain!!! Anyone else ever have your hair look great in the salon, but crap the next day? Curl Up & Dye doesn't do that to you!
There prices are also AMAZING considering what some of the others charge in Vegas. Within in the year I've had everything from long hair to a pixie cut and never paid more than $40.
Love this place!

Provided by YP.comI have been loking for a great salon for the past six years... This saturday I found it! Curl Up N' Dye.... I made an apointment with Bree for a total hair makeover. My hair was long and boring-brown. I wanted to do something extreme... the picture I had was a much shorter hair cut with several wild punky colors. Let me tell you...Bree knows her stuff. She did a great job!! I have been reveiving compliments all weekend. I handed out about 8 of her business cards. If you are looking for a laid-back salon with great (fun) people then this is your salon. If you are easily offended....go to the mall...This is NOT your grandma's salon. The prices are VERY reasonable!!! They have tons of services available.... Check out their website for more info!!! (Thanks Bree...you took of a good 10 years with my new hairdo!)
Pros: Knowledgeable Stylists, Reasonable Prices & Great Atmosphere
Cons: Um....I can't think of one....Oh, they don't offer tequila ha ha ha ha ha...

Provided by YP.comI have been growing my hair out for some time, so I only go in to get it done about three times a year--in this town it has been nearly impossible to find a hairstylist who STAYS PUT for that long. The end result has been me cutting and coloring my own hair for so long that it was a completely hopeless mess. I finally decided that I'd try to find a place to correct me...but didn't want to go to a salon that offered "ear massages" or wine while I was getting my hair cut (how awkward!). I found Curl Up N Dye on the internet, I got hooked up with Bree for a corrective color appointment, and found my way in. You can tell walking in that the place is definitely different from any other salon in the valley--and its awesome. Bree was great--she matched my hair to my roots and gave me advice for future colorings. She also allowed me to keep most of my length (which I appreciated) without a fight. We sat around while my hair set and talked about world issues. She's extremely down to earth, and by far the best stylist I've ever had. The best thing for me is that I am on my way in for another treatment in a few days and she's STILL THERE. The salon is low-key but the stylists are some of the best in the business. I will not be going to any other salon. My only problem? I don't need to go in more often!

Provided by YP.comI have been going to Curl Up N Dye (Bree) for about three years now, and I have loved every appointment, especially the first one. I found Curl Up N Dye through the website when I first moved here. I am very particular with my hair, so naturally I was very nervous when I pulled up to a salon that didn’t look like any salon I have ever been to before. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. All of the people there were great, and you could tell that everyone loved what they were doing, and were having fun! Once I sat in Bree’s chair, she took the time to get to know me and what I wanted and needed (follow military guide lines) with my hair. When she was done, I was absolutely amazed with what she had come up with. I LOVED IT more than I ever had!! I haven’t cheated on her yet and don’t plan on it. I even followed her to the other shop before they consolidated them both at the Rainbow salon. I love her, the other stylists, and the salon!

Provided by YP.comI have been a client at Curl Up N' Dye with Bree for three years now. When I make my appointments, I am not only excited that my hair will be awesome. I also love the atmosphere and social banter. Everyone in this salon makes you feel like family. The stylists (Bree and Lety especially) treat each other like sisters, and you can tell that there is a real love there, not only for their work but for each other as well. If you want SERIOUSLY KICK A$$ HAIR and a good time to boot, Curl Up N' Dye is the place for you!!!!

Provided by YP.comUnless you mind loud, boisterous, and filthy talking-I WOULD NOT GO THERE, especially if you have children and don't want to expose them to foul language.
Ohhh goody,, as one of the salon owners I will make comments on this review by "CanUcutHair" if that is your real name. In reading what you wrote Im thinkin you wont be coming back to our salon,,, very cool,, as you are not welcome into our salon. Customers like you need to go to a day spa for some fake compliments, a glass of wine and some cheese cubes, or go to some $10.00 haircut place. You just dont get it. Do we swear in the salon,,, YES,, sometimes we do !! Are we loud in the salon,,, YES,, sometimes we can be !!!! Its called having FUN at work, and the customers that have been coming to Curl Up N Dye for the last 18 years LOVE IT !!! We are not some dull boring salon doing cookie cutter hair, What we are is a staff of 20 or so, very talented hair stylist that do great work and love what we do. Are we going to change,,, Hell NO !!!!!!
