11/24/2012 My spouse and I ate here this morning. Thinking we would support a small business in conjunction with the American Express Small Business Saturday, we decided to patronize this place. We entered and were met by one of the most angst-ridden characters I have ever encountered. Covered in arm-length tattoos, he was the epitome of lousy customer service. No welcome, no desire to answer questions, nothing except to take the order, and he seemed peeved to do that even! We had to ask for our own water, salt and pepper, garnish for the egg dish, and when my wife's very bland blueberry french toast arrived, and she asked for warm syrup, he responded, 'we don't have any'. Here's a clue: warm some up, you moron! The food was not very good and in fact was way over-priced. Not once as we were eating on the patio did anyone come out and ask if we needed anything or about the food, let alone thank us for coming in. Nothing. So we left the same as a tip. Here's a real tip to others: some small businesses should not stay in business and this is one of them. I expect the storefront to be vacant soon. To hire someone who is so bereft of customer service skills in this day and age, when business of all sorts are trying to stay above water, seems well beyond stupid. We will never visit this place again and would suggest others follow suit.
