After checking a few dentist a...

After checking a few dentist and reviews online , I made an appointment for my husband to have dental work at DentalVille Craig location for May 26,2012 ( Saturday). They took my insurance information and the dentist (Dr. Jing) was very nice . Took an x-ray and the dentist explain that he(my husband) need a tooth extraction. My husband also want new upper denture and lower partial made. The dentist explain the different material for denture, so my husband decided to go for porcelain. So the lady who handle the billing info spoke to us and let us know how much it will cost . If I’m not mistaken her name is Amy, the manager. My husband asked how much it will cost from start to finish and we were given $3295.00. We asked how much will the insurance pay and we were told by her that the insurance will not pay for the denture because of the “MISSING TOOTH “clause. We were surprise about this clause so my husband agree for the price she gave us. So they did impression to start the process of fitting a denture. Dr. Jing told my husband that he will be happy with his denture because he will make it right and if there’s any problem he will try to fix it. He said that we need to come back about 4 or 5 time for fitting and it will be done for the Family Reunion that we are planning to attend in July 13

. So we said OK. So when all is done and it’s time for payment my husband want to put $500.00 down. Amy asked if he can put at least haft of the total amount so my husband did. When she gave us the receipt the balance was more than half. We didn’t say anything and was told to come back next Saturday . We were back June 2, 2012(Saturday) and did some more fitting or impression and were asked to come back next Saturday ( June 9,20012). Friday they called us and cancelled the appointment saying that the impression have not come in and rescheduled us for June 16,2012. They called us again on Friday before the set appointment and cancelled and reschedule it again for June 23 with the same excuse or reason , so I told them this is the 3rd time they keep cancelling the appointment so they did not reschedule him but they said that they will call us when it arrive. A week later while waiting for their call, I received some information from my insurance about the claim they received from DentalVille which they took care. I contact my insurance and asked if they denied the claim or why they did not pay any for the Valplast and Complete denture Maxillary. They explain that they received only 3 claims and was surprise what the reason for not turning in all the claims. They advise me to contact the dental office and have them to turn in the other 2 claims for them to review . So I called the dental office and asked them to turn in the rest of the claim to the insurance. We continue waiting for DentalVille call, after another week pass , my husband contact them and request to talk to the manager, their excuse is that the manager is on the phone with a patient and will call us back right away but never return the call and never heard from them. Every time you want to talk to the manager they say the same excuse. On July3, my husband was fed up with their practice and called them again and express his disappointment. He was transfer to talk to Marina the corporate manager and said that she will contact the Craig office and they will call us back on Thursday (July 5 ). Will keep you update

We got a 9am appointment to av...

We got a 9am appointment to avoid being late for my husband's job - apparently the 11 other people in the lobby had the same plan. After sitting in the exam room for 45 minutes the dentist came in and rattled off some information to the the assistant about my teeth, asked me why I hadn't followed the dental plan set up the last time and left - before I could explain to him the last time (6 months previous) I was told it was "amazing" that I was 31 with no cavities and should use Sensodyne for the pain I was experiencing. They took no new x-rays and used what was taken in July, my previous appointment AT THE SAME PLACE

The office manager came in with my new dental plan - for my THIRTEEN CAVITIES AND WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTION. I was a little confused. The dentist then returned to tell me it was not "his job" to convince me of the dental work needed. I obviously do not take care of my teeth and I do not eat right, so I could choose to take his $8000 of dental work or wait until I needed a root canal and all my teeth fell out, but he would not be responsible. This was enough for me and I ended my exam.

When I went to see my husband the office manager escorted me and supervised me to make sure I wasn't lying about their unethical practices, where upon my husband also walked out of his exam due to the dentist asking him, "Jesus Christ what's wrong with you" when my husband explained that due to unemployment he hadn't had a cleaning in a while.

NOW they've sent the paperwork to my insurance claim stating that I had two exams and an x-ray and they want me to pay them $88 dollars. I rather pay an attorney several thousand dollars to sue you for whatever care I might ACTUALLY need once I see an ACTUAL dentist. Screw your rip off insurance scam
