Provided by YP.comIf I could give no stars I would.....Durango Dental is a horrible place for any dental work. I went to them back in 9/2011 and had to have two crowns. The dentist (for lack of a better word ) Dr. David Huang, proceeded to start on my dental work which is where the trouble all began he stuck me in the lip with the syringe before anything even got started. That should have been my first clue I should get up and run. He drilled my tooth down so low that it was hard to have a crown fit properly. Then when he put the temp crown on he put it on backwards, and unfortunately this was done on a Friday and I had to go all weekend in pain. I tried calling the on call doctor huh what a joke I received a call back Sunday evening and was told I could call for a appt. Monday morning. When I went in the assistant saw the problem and fixed it. Two days later my temp crown fell out. OMG..really. So I went back for them to set it back in. When my perm. crown came in I went in for placement and all of a sudden more drilling had to be done. To make a long story short this crown fell out 1 year later with a hole in it. I tried going back for them to make it right and all I got was the run around. Never a call back, never a answer on how they would reimburse me. In my advice run, run, run from this dental office and dentist if you ever come in contact with him. I am now seeing a wonderful dentist and for the two teeth to be fixed this place ruined is now costing me, but at least it will be done right.

Provided by YP.comI came here 4 years ago and was told I needed 2 crowns and 1 root canal. The dentist took forever to do it and it was incredibly painful (I've had a root canal before and it was a breeze). I did not go back to this dentist because my procedure was so long and painful which made me think that the dentist wasn't very skilled at what he was doing.
4 years later, I get a regular check up with a different dentist and am told that 1 of the crowns done by Durango Dental has started to break. Now a crown is supposed to last at least 5 years which is why dental insurances won't cover a crown that is less than 5 years old. I should add that my previous crown was done 10 years ago and it is still in good shape. I call up Durango Dental and they give me a sch-bill about how they don't know if the dental work and check ups that I've had in the last 4 years by a different dentist is at a standard of care as good as theirs so they aren't willing to replace my crown.
Then I asked if they would be willing to give me a better price than what my dentist quoted me to replace the crown SINCE IT WAS THEIR FAULTY CROWN that broke before the normal 5 years. They say no but their price is the same as my dentist and ask if I want to make an appointment with them...
Umm EXCUSE ME??? WTF would I go back to you and PAY THE SAME PRICE for a crown that didn't last as long as it was supposed to?? I gave them the opportunity to show some professionalism, make a good faith effort to fix their mistake, and act as a reputable business, but they failed. Don't waste your time and money going to them. You'll likely need to have any work they do fixed by a new dentist later on.
