Provided by YP.comOn 8 September, 2007 I had Expert Auto Center perform some maintenance on my vehicle which included replacing the ignition cables.
On 26 January, 2008 my vehicle died between Kingman AZ and Wickenburg, AZ. I raised the hood and checked the ignition cables. They were intact, but were looked much older than 4-1/2 months. I have 20 years military experience as a mechanic. My vehicle was towed to a garage in Wickenburg and the manager said I needed a new ignition coil and cables. I told him they were supposedly replaced a few months ago. He replied they were obviously much older than a few months, which is what I expected.
On 31 January, 2008 I returned to Expert Auto Center and explained the situation, and showed him the old cables. The manager was rude and uncooperative and said he could produce a receipt proving he ordered ignition cables for my vehicle and demanded an apology. I did not ask to see the receipt, because that does not prove they were installed, only that they were ordered and received. I have shown these cables to numerous associates in the business and they all have agreed they are much older than 4 -1/2 months old.
I checked with the Better Business Bureau and discovered this facility has had multiple complaints in the past. I paid for goods and services for which I did not receive and suffered a great inconvenience as a result.
I do not recommend you take your vehicle to this business.
