I've been staying at the family owned Hitchin' Post RV Park since November, 2009 in my 5th wheel toy hauler. The staff and guests are very nice. You can join in or be by yourself. A favorite meeting place is the fabulous Steakhouse and Saloon right on the property within walking distance so no trouble having fun yet being safe with no driving! The food is expertly prepared, large portions priced reasonably. I've enjoyed their Saturday night Italian specials, mouth watering steaks and prime ribs, tasty salads and slaws along with the best real chicken strips lightly coated buttermilk battered 'tenders' I've ever had in my life!

The grounds are well kept, the pool is huge and heated, very nice! The facilities are excellent as they are done in marble and red wood, clean, working and well kept! It is safe as we are behind a gated entrance. Easy to get to anywhere in the city offering a view of the strip so my Grandsons and I could watch the New Year's Eve fireworks right from the top bunk in our RV! It's a fairly quick hop to lots of places in CA as well! I was going to go to southern Florida after Daytona Bike Week but the monthly rates are two to three times the rate here at the Hitchin' Post so I'm staying here for the winter.



I love it and I'll be back next year!

Hitchin' Post is a truly exceptional park in the last place you'd expect to find it!! Don't let the Area outside the park keep you from staying here! VERY friendly staff, Full amenities including community laundry facilities that are cleaner and nicer than anywhere in Vegas... With the WiFi and even a "courtesy computer" in the laundry room... keeping in touch is easy. Looks small from outside, but once inside the remote operated and video monitored security gate... it has close to 200 spaces, some with semi-permanent residents and some overnighters... Pet area, secured pool & shower area, motel, and steakhouse all on-site! All under $50 a night!!!
