Provided by YP.comLas Vegas National provides a great opportunity to be challenged on the links while being nestled closely to the Las Vegas Strip. Recent improvements to the course have made a marked difference to the course. Las Vegas National is very affordable in comparison to many of the courses in town and still provides a great golfing experience.

Provided by YP.comIt had been about 5 years since I played this course last, I forgot it was there. American Golf had kind of run it down then, it was in poor shape. Since the new management took over, it's in great shape now and a fun atmosphere too. Loved the old clubhouse bar, where I guess Sinatra and Deano used to hang out and play piano, and they had a Vegas golf hall of fame museum with a lot of cool memoribilia, like from Tiger's first win there in '96. The course is still challenging, and it's nice not to be walking through the desert everytime I push one a little too far right. The greens were rolling beatifully, the price was right, and it's close to the strip. Definitely recommend, it's a must see for Vegas golfers, and just those who want to see some real Vegas history, too.

Provided by YP.comI like the lay out, but when I played last year the condition was terrible and avoided the place. I didn't believe the review that jv had put on there so I had to check it out. I have to admit, he was right! I don't know what they did, but the course is in great condition. Especially the greens! They not fast, but they roll true. I'm definately going back soon.

Provided by YP.comI played this course over a year ago and loved the layout but the conditioning was a little rough. I just played it again yesterday and could not believe the improvement in conditioning. The greens were rolling beautiful and it was so nice to see all that deep green color on all the fairways. I brought my father-in-law along for a round because he was interested in the long history that the course had with the P.G.A.Tour throughout the years. A couple of nice bonuses for him were the newly add senior tee boxes that made the course very playable for him. The other bonus was the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame that is now housed in their Vintage clubhouse. By the way a very cool exhibit to see. All in all this course is hard to beat for the price and how close it is to the strip. I give it two thumbs up! JV
