We hired Mr. Lee in November 2016. Our friend, an accomplished pianist and teacher, wants to immigrate to the U.S. After review of her biography, Lee said she would have "no problem" obtaining an O1 visa. We paid him over $8000 in fees which included expedited visa service and setting up an LLC for a piano academy for gifted students which he said would satisfy the job requirement for immigration. He also said that if the AFM (musicians union) endorsed her, USCIS issues visas based upon their endorsement. He said he would work on her case right away. Over a month passed, he admitted he hadn't begun work on her case. Then he said he needed several more weeks to work on her case. We fired him because he failed to inform us of major delays. We found out later from USCIS that even with AFM approval and an LLC, she does NOT qualify for an O1 visa-VERY FEW DO. Everything that Lee said was a lie and/or wrong. HE HAS 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE. He tried to string us along. He deserved firing.
