I have been going to the East Charleston restaurant since 1967, it has great fooD, it Does not have to be authentic, I for one Do not care for authentic mexican fooD...I love Macayo's. I have moveD to HenDerson now & wish they haD one out here...why DiD they close the one on Trop?

NEGATIVE 5 STARS ----The restaurant on Sahara was absolutely terrible. I can see having slightly bad customer service if the food was stellar but that was not the case. I am ex military so I can pretty much eat anything but this was BAD!!!! The ground beef that was in my burrito was full of grease... I wasn't able to stomach half of the burrito, the chips they served were stale and the taco my daughter had had two strips of beef…REALLY! If their sister restaurant is any indication of quality and service ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! If I could do a negative rating I would.

California mexican food is not as made in mexico [ thaks god] I have dine both on it for 50 years I know. MACAYO is a very good mexican restaurant and the portions are not small by any means. Actualy it supasses in taste in some way CA. mexican. Vegans are lucky to aheve a good mexican place to eat like the MACAYO

Macayo has the best Mexican food. I love their hot sauce! My MIL orders it and has it sent to us in Montana!
