Menchie's is by far THE best frozen yogurt franchise out there, and I'm so happy this one has opened in Downtown Summerlin! It's a bit hidden so you have to know where to look (it's by the Moe's, which itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle).

I love Menchie's because they always have one vegan option (usually a tasty fruit sorbet), one low carb option and one no sugar added option. I try to stick to a low carb eating regimen so it's nice to know that I can treat myself once in a while (okay, okay, maybe it's more like twice in a while) to a sweet treat without too much guilt.

The toppings bar has the usual candy and sweets that appeal to kids (pro tip: sugar phobes should avoid the shredded coconut because unfortunately it's sweetened coconut), but there are also a few healthy toppings like diced Blue Diamond almonds and fresh strawberries. Sometimes they even have SUGAR FREE chocolate sauce!
