More Than Bread, Inc. and Roma Deli & Restaurant announced they are significantly expanding their bread production facilities and product offering through the acquisition of the Sanborn Sourdough bakery. More Than Breads, founder and Chief Operation Officer, Giuseppe Consarino, operates a bakery specializing in artisan breads serving the elite hotels and restaurants in town as well as the Roma Deli & Restaurant at 5755 W. Spring Mtn. Rd. Consarino said, " The addition of sourdough products to our bread line will enable us to provide a full range of products to our customers." Sanborn has been producing breads in the Las Vegas market for the last eighteen years throughout retail Markets such as Sam's Club, Costco, and Von's to name a few using a 130 year old San Francisco-style sourdough starter. Consarino said, "It just makes a lot of sense for us to buy the Sanborn Bakery at this time." We have quadrupled our production capacity and are able to offer two well established brands and take a leadership position in the market. We are combining our 500 year old artisan bread recipes with the sourdough and French bread offerings of Sanborn to better serve our customers. We look forward to expansion into the retail arena as well as continuing to serve the hotel and restaurant industry in this new venture. It's great to have these products baked locally and rushed fresh to the market. More than Bread has been in business since 2002.
