I called one hour heating & air conditioning and told them I was having problems with my upstairs heater so they sent someone over. The technician crawled up in the attic looked around for a few minutes and crawled back down. He told me I needed a control module that would cost about $900.00 and a gas smart valve and that would cost another $900.00 a total of $1800.00 but it would be more cost efficient to replace the whole furnace for $3500.00 then he charged me $89.00 for the service call. Since I already had a similar experience once before with one hour on my ac unit two summers ago I called to get a second opinion and they sent out a tech and only charged me $25.00 for the service call and they found a loose connection and also found the thermostat was set for a electric heater so he set the switch for a gas heater and now it works fine. They only charged me for the $25.00 service call and told me that when I was ready for a furnace to let them do the job and they would give me a great price on a unit. One hour wanted to charge me $1800.00 to $3500.00 and it ended up costing me $25.00 to fix it plus the $89.00 one hour charged me for the so called service call. One hour sent me a salesman not a technician. I won't call one hour heating and air conditioning for anything else all they did was clip me for $89.00 and try to sell me a furnace I didn't need yet. BEWARE

I keep meaning to leave positive reviews for these guys... I recently bought a house which needed a new furnace and AC unit - they installed both items very quickly and were careful about not leaving a mess in my new home. They also cleaned out the air ducts, and showed me how to change out the air filter on the furnace. ALL of their techs are very friendly and knowledgeable. They service my parent's home units and mine now. Great job guys!

The company came out several times to repair my heat pump. After charging my Mother almost $500.00 for a part that did not fix the problem. They would not even call back to discuss the error. the problem turned out to be a simple thermostat less than $60.00. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!! You would think that if you pay for a contract year after year they would explain that it only covers the call out and not the expensive parts. Caveat emptor!!!

I had a run of the mill servic...

I had a run of the mill service for a check up on my a/c unit. The technician came out was very friendly. My units are less than 3 years old and he tells me that they are both low on pressure. So he puts the proper amount of pressure into both units for a large sum of money. 4 days later my one unit stops working, I call to see if I can get a tech to come out immediately. I'm told that nobody is available until the next day between 10-2. After waiting and picking up my daughter late from school, I call to see where the tech is, I'm told that my scheduled appt. is between 11-3. I don't know if it is in their "policy" to change the scheduled time when they are running behind, but I was pretty much told that I was wrong about the time, " that's what we have scheduled". The tech came out at 2:50......where I was told that it was a loose wire.....who loosened the wire???? If you want shady behavior, untrustworthiness, poor customer service and large fees, feel free to use this company. I will NEVER use them again.
