Worst decision of my life so far. Got a bike from there with a high apr with decent credit and got the extended warranty .. bought it used .. 2016 kx 250f anyways the bike blew up 8 months latter.. had all the maintenance professionally done .. long story short they charge 450$ to tell me what’s wrong with the bike gave back to me in pieces.. nobody wants to cover it.. 7,000 dollar bill left and got a bike in pieces in my garage.. ohh I only rode the thing 18 hours since I bought it from them..do not go there..

BEWARE!!!

Without a doubt the worst consumer decision I ever made was to have my motorcycle serviced at RideNow on Boulder !!! I took my Vulcan Classic in for basic maintenance in October '08. Until then it was a clean low mileage bike with only 24k miles on it. All I wanted was a to have the bike checked over and serviced as required. I expected to receive professional and competent work to be performed (after all they are a Kawaski dealer) What I wound up getting was not at all what I had hoped and paid quite a lot of money for !!

First off the amount I was charged was absolutely insane for the work that was done. And by that I mean if all had gone well. As you will see if you read on it most certainly did not go well. In fact it pretty much went as badly as it possibly could have gone.

I was initially given an estimate of approx $600.00 for a tune and service. Mind you this just to service the bike. There were NO repairs made of any kind !! I thought this was a bit high but agreed to the work. After all I love my bike and want to keep it in the best condition possible.

When I went to pick it up, the bill was almost $780.00 !!! For this I got an oil and filter change, new final drive oil, new air filter, new spark plugs, and new coolant. This is maybe about $75.00 worth of materials and an hours work. I paid the bill without complaint, but I surely felt a bit ripped off. Still if the bike was great condition and all maintenance up to date I was still OK with this. I was more concerned that the bike be well cared for and safe than a few extra bucks out the door !!

After I paid the bill they eventually brought the bike out to me after a wait of nearly an hour and several inquiries to Amanda the service consultant. I got about 3 miles down the I-95 freeway and the engine seized up. I was very lucky to have avoided getting ran over by the 4:00 rush hour traffic !!!

RideNow had the bike towed back to their shop and later told me I would have to authorize an estimate for the cost of labor to tear the engine down and find out what happened to it. I could not believe they expect more money from me after MY ENGINE BLEW OUT LEAVING THE SHOP after paying almost $800.00 to service it !!!!

Eventually I decided to tow the bike out and have another dealer tear it down (Carter Powersports) they found the oil pump drive gear stripped and the new oil filter was bone dry.......It never had any oil pass through it at all. Obviously the pump was broken while they were "servicing" it. In addition the coolant in the reserve tank was bright green and fresh, but the coolant in the radiator was old and very watery. It looks like all they did for the coolant replacement was dump out the reserve bottle and refill it and never actually changed the coolant in the engine at all.

I contacted RideNow's corporate headquarters and they had the general manager of the store, Paul call me. What a treat that was !! All he did was claim that there was no way it's their fault that the bike failed after I left the shop (remember the dry oil filter-never had oil pass through it) And then he accused me of trying to set them up !!

I would say being grossly overcharged, Paying for work that was not done correctly, having the bike lock up 3 miles later on the freeway, Then being verbally assaulted by the general manager adds up to a pretty unsatisfactory experience.

Think twice before using this place, I didn't check them out before I went there, But after all this happened I have talked with many other motorcycle riders and I have yet to hear even one positive thing about them. In fact all I have heard are other horror stories of lousy service and very shady practices in the sales department as well. BEWARE !!!!

I bought an extended service contract from ridenow powersports on boulder highway in henderson, nv. When I brought my motorcycle in to have the valves adjusted as per the scheduled maintenance, they skirted around the task. I was given an invoice of work done that had nothing to do with what I had asked them to do. The second time I went in for scheduled service, the same thing happened, only this time the service writer seemed very annoyed that I had returned. My motorcycle was returned to me in very dirty and greasy condition. When I brought it in it was spotless. I believe that service contract was/is a scam. I believe the company listed on the service contract is either false or in cahoots with ridenow powersports on boulder. I refuse to bring my bike back to them and that is EXACTLY what they want. This company is very dirty, corrupt and void of a shred of decency, after the sale. I apologize for my "high school level" review. =)

BuyerBeware!!

Bought a 2008 Vulcan 1600 and I cant stress enough for anyone going through Ride Now financing to READ ALL OF IT VERY CAREFULLY. The loan I got was the biggest BS loan of my life. They don't care about you. They just want you to sign on the dotted line.

High pressure loses sale

I came in Saturday to possibly trade in to another bike. I was never pressured by a salesman so much in my life. After repeated times of telling him that I wanted to just look around at the store being it was my first visit he persisted in flanking me. YOU'RE TRYING TOO HARD. Let the customer shop...the bikes will sell themselves. Today I'll be going to someplace other than a RideNow!
