Provided by YPmobileVery disappointed, this is my second visit since the new chef took over. The first time the chicken Jalfrezi was no longer served with a gravy (dry) this time it's been taken off the menu but they will make it. May as well not tho. Flavor is very lacking & still no gravy dry and nothing like it use to be. BHINDI MASALA has changed tremendously too. Used to see the okra not hardly anymore . so much other stuff in it it's not worth ordering. Esp for the price. Rice was still good if you just want white basmati and the SAFFRON drop was still good but not enuf to go back again. Truly a shame this place was our fave...we took a break and nothing's the same.

Provided by YP.comIf you are looking for Indian food, Saffron - Flavors of India is the place to go. Food is authentic and great, decor amazing, and the people are wonderful. If you don't know what something is, ask. They are very happy to explain. Do not miss the naan. Don't miss the peshawar naan.

Provided by YP.comGreat food and service. Being vegetarian, there was a plethora a options, a real treat! My favorite, the mushroom with corn, who would've thought? It was the perfect blend of spice tamed by the natural sweetness of corn. And let's not forget the amazing selection of naans and parathas. They were the perfect texture and amazingly fresh. A must try!
The decor and ambiance just right. Not over the top and very inviting with perfect lighting. Not too bright that it's glaring, nor too dim that you need to hold a candle to read the menu (trust me, I have had to do this in other places).
I will definitely be making the drive back out from across town because it IS that GOOD!

Provided by YP.comWas pleased with the food and service, I give Saffron a TWO thumbs up. Everything was prepared as it should have been. I have been to plenty of Indian cuisine restaurants and this one definitely tops them all. The atmosphere was very intimate, but inviting for a family style group. My commute to Saffron is about a 30 minute drive, but it was and is well worth it. I will be making visits more frequent, as this has exceeded my expectations.

Provided by YP.comSimply put, excellent food and great service in a very nice setting! This is place is a MUST-TRY for all Indian food lovers! If you haven't tried it, definitely order the Peshwari Naan, it's mildly sweet but TRUST me when I say it tastes great. I was a skeptic and now I'm an addict! Other personal favorites: Tandoori Chicken Wings, Butter Chicken and Dum Mutton Biryani.

Provided by YP.comMy wife I went to Safforn - Flavors of India and it was no less their opening night. The restaurant was beautiful and aroma of the Indian food was very compelling. Raj, the owner was a perfect host. We tried several tandoori dishes and the experience was absolutely fantastic. There is nothing like this in the NW part of Vegas. This place can easily compete with anything on or near the Strip. We met the Chef who came in from the Bahamas to help open the restaruant. This place is something special. I could not pronounce a lot of the food names, but it was all a fantastic experience and it was fun. Were bringing friends with us next time. You have to try it tonight.
