This place is a nightmare!! The front office staff are the rudest people!! The neighbors are noisy and there are small children wandering around with no parents! The teenager's loiter outside and make tons of racket all night, and leave graffiti everywhere! For "low income" apartments there are beemers and escalades that live here. The front staff is the WORST! Tina in particular. She is two faced, Renters BEWARE!! The maintenance men are incompetent, and it takes them at least 3 time to fix a simple problem.. probably because they can't speak ENGLISH!! Almost No one cleans up after their pets, and I get blamed for it. Absolutely ridiculous!! I wish we could afford to move again and I've only been here since March!! It is so not worth the cheap rent!! An Absolute flipping nightmare!!

This place is deceiving! Period! When we moved in the carpet looked clean, after about the first month black stains started appearing EVERYWHERE, on the carpet! We called management and they stated that they will not clean the carpet for us but they can RECOMMEND someone who can, but we would have to pay. WHAT?! They would not clean the carpet, even though it's their fault.



After that our kitchen sink was leaking and we called maintenance over 6 times and even explained that they needed to put caulking around the edge of the faucet because that was where the water was going through. Each time they came they just "tightened the faucet'! Because they never fixed the kitchen sink, like we asked them, the cabinets under the kitchen sink are starting to get mildew and the paint is lifting! We called them to complain and they stated that they will have to charge US because we never told them in time about the leak!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! We called them 6 times!!



Now my last and final straw is that they have a pet policy and it's $300 security deposit to have a dog. We rescued a puppy and decided that we were gonna keep it, so we went to the office and had the security deposit and proof of the shots that the puppy has gotten. The puppy's last shots will be on 1-31-10 and after that he won't have to see the vet for a full year and keep in mind that I spoke to the rude manager prior to doing all this and she stated that that was they needed, and of coarse that the dog can't be over 25lbs.,this wouldn't be a problem since both parents of the puppy were small breeds. Regardless, once I went in to do the paperwork the manager says "We can't accept dogs if they're not over a year because they won't have their full shots." I then explained to her that the puppy will have his full set of shots by the end of the month. The manager then stated " Oh really? I didn't know they could do that." I showed her a receipt from the vet that stated all of this, as proof. She than says "Well we can't accept the dog because it's a mix breed." Wait..WHAT?! She just kept pulling all kinds of excuses!! I then asked why and she said "Because we don't know how big they would get." I explained to her that my dog would not go over 25lbs but she said it would have to be a year old in order to prove that it won't become that big!! OMG! I wanted to punch her in the face!



Thankfully my mom can keep our puppy at her place until our stupid contract is over! To tell you the truth, I'm at the point where I'm gonna buy myself out the contract because management is so darn horrible! Another reason I would not recommend living here is this, THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN!!! If your neighbor is in the kitchen or even the bathroom, I promise you that it would sound like they're in your own apartment! This is stressful when you're sleeping at night and your neighbors are awake. It sounds like someone is inside of your apartment and believe me that is not the best feeling at 3am.



I would not recommend this place to anyone at all! If you can live somewhere better that's just couple hundred bucks more, do it! This place has a cheap price but it's not worth all the stress and the BS!

southvalley apartments are verry quiet and clean on the outside but on the inside theyre HORRIBLE and CHEAPLY made!!!! the leasing managers are verry friendly but once your moved in and have any type of problem the main manager KELLY will treat you as if your a peice of lower class trash.. southvalley apartments are safe and quiet enviroment but beleive me it dont come free they will nickle and dime you for every extra penny you have not to mention it feels more like a prison than a home because kelly makes sure she knows every little detail of your life that she possibly can, privacy isnt an isuue because it doesnt exist..childeren under 18 ARE NOT allowed outside with out a parent so if you have a teenager beware because you will be exspected to watch them at all times for they are not even allowed to hang outside with friends unless a parent is present and if your teen dares sneak out you will hear about and potentially be EVICTED even if your at work and have no control over your kids action,of course they dont tell you about this rediculous rule until after the lease has already been signed...there area few pros to living here but BELIEVE me the cons outweigh them by a landslide so renters BEWARE!!!!!
