The best little cupcakes in Vegas belong to Pamela Jenkins. As owner of The Cupcakery, Las Vegas' premiere cupcake bakery, Jenkins has perfected the most nostalgic and favorite treat, the cupcake. With sophisticated flavors such as the Kir Royale and Chocolate Passion, the cupcake is no longer for children only. Two years ago, at 25 years of age, Jenkins left a great job as an executive assistant to Timothy Poster, chairman and CEO of the Golden Nugget casino, to pursue her own business with two colleagues. The idea came during a particularly slow day in the office after reading about a lady in San Francisco selling homemade cupcakes out of her car. With the rise of cupcake bake shops across the country, Jenkins knew the cupcake business would be a sure hit in the Las Vegas valley. The doors opened in January 2006 and in the first year of business The Cupcakery sold more than 275,000 cupcakes. Jenkins, who was born and raised in Jacksboro, Texas, studied in New York City, Spain, Argentina, and has traveled the globe. She is a total "foodie," loving to visit the culinary establishments of Vegas. When Jenkins is not spending time creating new cupcake recipes, she spends time with her three dogs Josephine, Tora, and Calypso, riding horses and doing Bikram Yoga. Jenkins gets a kick out of being affectionately called "Cupcake" around town. Jenkins hopes to open other boutique businesses, including a store for her own clothing designs which she currently sells to friends. Her future goal for The Cupcakery is to expand in both Las Vegas and nationwide. In Spring 2007, Jenkins bought out her original partners and teamed up with her Uncle Ricky. They are now conquering the cupcake world together, one city at a time.

I placed an order last year on Oct. 9, 2013 for a dozen Happy Birthday cupcakes to be delivered to my daughter's apt. address in Las Vegas on Oct. 10, 2013. The order was placed online and since I live in northern Nevada in a rural community (Fallon) I conduct most of my shopping online. I provided all the information that was requested, including my phone number and email address. The cupcakes were not delivered, but my credit card was charged. After speaking to someone in charge the problem was resolved and they even delivered the cupcakes without charge. My daughter loved the cupcakes and we were both very happy. This year I decided to double my order and send 2 dozen cupcakes to her public relations firm for all to enjoy. I placed the order on Oct. 8 and told they would be delivered on Oct. 10 (her birthday). I received no confirmation and was told that if some of information was incorrect this may happen. I sent an email this morning to confirm and again received no word. I called them a few minutes ago and once again they had no idea what I was talking about, but after trying to contact them twice I never received any contact although I'd left my email address and phone number both times. I've never tasted their cupcakes, but they can't possibly be this good! I'm off to order some flowers so my daughter will receive something from her parents for her birthday. Learned my lesson!
