The Hush Puppy
7185 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89117
A long time ago...
way down South...
folks would roll up corn meal,
fry it in deep fat...
and throw it to the baying hounds to keep them quiet...
and that's how the
"Hush Puppy" got its name.
Originally from Texas, Arkansas, Charles and Virginia Ghormley and their three sons opened the Hush Puppy Restaurant in September of 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the success of the first Hush Puppy Restaurant, the family opened a second Hush Puppy Restaurant in January of 1986.
Through the years, the Hush Puppy has been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Whenever you're in Las Vegas, we invite you to come try some of the finest catfish west of the Mississippi.

Provided by YPmobileFood was just OK. I question freshness of Hushpuppies they serve for the table. Was told could not take left over ones home because they were all you can eat but they were brought to us before we ordered. When waitress was asked if they just threw them away she replied in an odd tone that they did. Why throw away instead of letting someone take them home? Would keep away from the fried food if you go.
