Provided by YP.comWhen we moved to Las Vegas 3 years ago, we searched for the best school for my daughter, just completed 10th grade with a homeschooled system in NJ. We paid for administration fee, over $100 to reserved a place at Meadow School, they insisted we had my daughter do a PSAT test since she is younger than the 11th graded in the school, and they worried that she cannot cope with because she was homeschooled. We did and she scored among the top 4% in the nation, but then the school turn around and said that after debating, they thought it wasn't fair for the other kids that my daughter do the final 2 years at Meadow and received the same diploma certificate as the rest that did 4 years, the PSAT results already proven that she is capable of meeting the school standard, why do you hold back a child that is capable of being in the "right" group where she belongs. Anyway, we forfeited the fee we paid to the school and put our daughter in a public school instead, 2 years later, my daughter passed her SAT, still among the top 4 % of the nation, was invited to Harvard, Princeton, Brown as well as MIT, and was given a 4 years full schoolarship at St. John's University in New York. Thanks to Meadow School, we saved 3 years of private school tuition fee and you let go of an awesome student to be on your list!

The school prepares students for college, that much there is no doubt about. The 100% placement they brag about is a lie. Students with no intention to go to college are either asked to leave or the school applies to UNLV for them. They also don't mention how many kids don't get aid or switch schools or just don't go entirely. Granted they are a small percentage, but the school won't tell you about that part. They also won't tell you they value appearance above everything else. The students can show up inebriated to school functions as long as it doesn't make the school look bad. The cheerleaders represent the school as a classed up stripper act and overall the students are entitled brats. The uniforms don't do anything to equalize the economic classes.
