Don't get into an accident if this is your company under NYS No Fault Insurance Law. I was rearended 3 years ago, at better than 55MPH, and was diagnosed with an impinged nerve by the insurance compaines doctors and that of my choosing. When I finally found a treatment that was working at minimizing the pain with minimal use of drugs they cut me off, cold turkey, saying they weren't paying for maintenence treatments. Funny thing is besides drugs that list some side effects like stroke, heart attack, seizures, they haven't been able to come up with an alternative treatment. And I have full coverage with medium/high limits, not just your basic needed to register a car. I'm still with them but suerly not for much longer as no matter what they were the carrier at the time of the accident, so they will be liable anyway. Gotta laugh at the way big business thinks, I've been with them over a decade, and still sending in premiums which to some extent has to go towards countering what they are paying out, and they are willing to lose that loyalty and any future premiums from a driver with no chargable accidents or tickets in nearly 20 years, in other words, a good risk.
