We got a white German shepherd and have young kids, so having a well trained dog is priority. I found Mike Clark through Yelp. She underwent his 10 day “Boot Camp” at 13 weeks old (check FB for the video of Nika) and did so well. We are so proud of her ! She had typical puppy issues like trying to eat her poop, not listening and nipping pretty badly. With young kids this can be a bad combination. Mike went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations with giving my entire family training lessons and teaching us all how to individually interact with Nika as well as basic obedience training, which makes Nika calmer, focused and well balanced. He gave us a video of her training and walked us through each step so we could use as a refresher. Nika has been so well behaved, listens and doesn’t even give her poop a second sniff! The best part is he knows dogs and he teaches “no treat training” so the dog focuses on YOU and your commands and not a treat. It really helps me as an owner to free up my hands to give her positive reinforcement through petting her, which she loves. If you have any hesitation, please don’t because Mike is a stand up guy and runs good business. A hard find in all the South Florida shadiness.
