Nice place for basic needs. Reasonable prices and clean rooms. No complaints from me. The staff are polite and helpful.

I rate this a ZERO I will NOT EVER again stay at this Quality Inn in Lawrence Kansas.



Quality Inn Lawrence Kansas = my WORST experience at any hotel, in 7 years.



This Quality Inn is a BAD Choice.



If you are a family or working person and you hope to get 8 hours sleep before your next day of driving. I would not stay here.



The shower in our room is 3 foot square enclosure, no bath tub.

Ther was black mold in the corners of the glass doors



It was late night of Friday after ThanksGiving. I was traveling across country with my mum.

I checked in approx 2:30 AM Saturday morning. We were settled into the room about 3:00 AM. I told the night clerk we need a night of sleep.

My mum asked what were those young guys doing ? She saw one guy come running out from a room to a truck and another guy run from the truck into the room. I said mum, that is usually for a “Working” hotel, where the guys save up their money to help some unfortunate woman pay for her room. No one young guy could afford to pay so they individually pay what they have for an hour or 2 to use the pillows, then when their time is up, 1st guy leaves ( back to the truck ) and the next guy comes in. Oh but it could be it is a non-smoking hotel and they individually take a break to go out to the truck for a smoke. Ether way it did not look good.

We got a room on the inside hall, away from the busy room.

So we hardly noticed the party going on, near the parking lot.



About 9 AM housekeeping comes knocking at the door. I growled at her and sent her away.

I just wanted a night's sleep. I hardly got to sleep, because several more times they knocked at the door, then called.



When I was checking out , the morning manager Ms Amber told me, “it does not matter to her what time we checked in, we had to leave by 11 AM, because she charges ½ day more for the room if we are not gone by 11”, by noon she already had charged a ½ day more to my credit card. In her opinion if we did not get 8 hours sleep too bad, pay for another night. She invited me to stay until 2 PM since she is already charging for that amount of time.

She could not understand, I was traveling across country, not on a spending spree.
