Provided by YP.comI went there around 6:30 pm with my 4 year old son and asked the owner if I could eat outside because I had my dog. The owner indicated that was completely acceptable and that we could eat on the patio (which is equipped just for just that). Now granted it was 40 degrees out and it was not my first choice. But if you are familiar with the place it has a TV outside and speakers, tables and it is pretty enclosed. We were sitting eating are tenders and fries very content outside watching the game. Then for some reason I was confronted by a waitress, she tries to grab my son and says that I could not have my son out in the cold, and that the police were on their way. Now, my son had thermal underwear on, coat, hat, scarf and gloves. We actually had to take our coats off for a few minutes while eating outside because we so hot and bundled up. I have to say this employee was the only one really making an issue. I paid my bill and left. The whole incident was humiliating and embarrassing. But by no means did I do anything wrong or had I broken any law.. . God forbid a single dad that works full time stops by for some chicken tenders, has a beer for a few minutes to watch the game while trying to be productive after a 9 hour work day and walk his dog and son. Needless to say I have never been more insulted and embarrassed in my life. I did call the establishment the same night and talked to the manager, they were very apologetic and though they indicated that this “waitress” acted on her own (which was obvious by the owner being more than willing to let us eat outside on the patio at the beginning of the night). They also indicated to me that the “waitress” that confronted me was married to a police officer (which explains a lot) they continued to apologize and did admit that the waitress was out of line. Just because you're married to a police officer does not grant you some special treatment. This was obvious what she was thinking she had considering the demeanor of the waitress and establishment as they confronted me. If not why would they even mention that waitress was married to a police officer? What does that matter? I do give up to the boys in blue though and their sacrifice, as myself spent 7 years in the military protecting our country. Though right now I am not feeling very free, and have a bitter taste in my mouth from this establishment. It is really sad when one tries to tell others how to be a parent when those themselves are not. Also though it was more of this individual and not the establishment that instigated this unnecessary confrontation, for me an employee represents the establishment. Because of this, unfortunately I won't be darkening these doors anymore. And I would suggest that to anyone, that is, if you are looking to sit back for a few and take a load off, don't go here.
