I have always respected what Lazarus house has provided for so many people. Hope they keep up the good work.

Having said that, I am very disappointed with the fact that, they are depriving people of donations such as furniture due to the fact that the pick-up driver has allergies. Because the item came from a home with pets, doesn't mean that it is damaged, soiled or contaminated. I don't know anyone who doesn't own a pet these days and I don't know of anyone in desperate need of furniture, who is going to care if it came from a home with pets, unless , they, themselves , suffer from severe allergies. In which case, there are steps that can be taken to eliminate such problems, at hardly any cost at all. I understand that allergies can be difficult. But, it seems to me, the only one benefiting from this pick-up service is the truck driver. Get someone who doesn't have allergies.
