I purchased a bass from Jack's establishment, and he had to ship it all the way to Texas for me. Communication, service, and of course quality of product are all top notch. If you are in need of a quality double bass, do yourself a favor before going to the over priced big names in the business and check out JD Hill music first. I played many basses priced well over twice as much as the one I purchased from Jack. They were nowhere near the sound, build quality, nor set up as the one I purchased from Jack. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
