After we had our 4th pinhole leak in copper pipes, we called Delta Mechanical, who started the repiping work within a few days, completed it in just a few more, and put the walls back like they were originally -- all for a very good price. Ivo, the plumber who did the work, was great to work with, and easy to have in the house.

June 2014 our hot water heater needed to be replaced so we went to Home Depot and set up an appointment through their store. Georgia Delta Mechanical, Inc. in Lawrenceville, Ga is who came out. They came out, installed a new hot water heater & my boyfriend noticed that the installer was using OUR hand truck to move the old & new one & thought no biggie. Well IT’S A BIG DEAL since that very hand truck is GONE. We didn’t notice it was missing until a month later when we went to use the hand truck. So I called Georgia Delta Mechanical & explained what happened, I simply asked that our hand truck be returned & it would be all good. The person who answered the phone said they would have a manager call me back, no call back. As a matter of fact I called 3 separate times & each time I was told a manager would return my call. NO ONE ever called me back! Home Depot did actually call us & let us know that Georgia Delta Mechanical had called stating that we were claiming their installer had stolen a dolly. They said all of their installers have dollies on their vehicles so we were lying. We have gone through the whole process & I have talked to everyone in Customer Care & the Sedgwick Claims Company that Home Depot uses & NOTHING! So feel free to use Georgia Delta Mechanical but be aware they will steal your stuff!

We purchased 2 toilets from the Home Depot last weekend. Home Depot exclusively uses Delta Mechanical for their installations. Yesterday one of their employees came to our house to install them. End result, 1 doesn’t flush unless you hold the handle down (he disguised this while showing her the toilet works so she would sign off, then told her not to use the toilet for 3 hours so the caulk could set up) the other one has a tank that rocks (he told her that was normal!!?). We went back to the Home Depot last night to try and get someone else to come fix the problems and were told that someone would call me the next (today 9/29) morning. I did get a call from Janet who explained that she didn’t have anyone in our vicinity today and that she could have someone to our home Monday between 2 and 6. As my wife had already taken Friday afternoon off and couldn’t miss anymore work, I explained to her that someone would either need to come out today (Saturday) or after 5:30 on a weeknight. She said she would have a manager call me Monday. In the meantime we’re stuck with 2 toilets that don’t work correctly. The installer was difficult to understand and rude to my wife who has 10 plus years in commercial property management and is used to working with trades people. She said he spent a good portion of his time trying to make sure he wasn’t blamed for anything that might go wrong with the installation and also fixing phantom problems he “discovered”. Problems my wife and I both knew didn’t exist previously. Please believe me when I say I’m not taking any pleasure in this……all I wanted was a couple of toilets installed correctly. If you buy something from Home Depot let someone else install it!

Re-plumbed my entire house for under $3000.

I had my house re-plumbed 2 years ago by Delta Mechanical. They were there when they said they would be & finshed the job in 4 days as they said they would. I've had zero trouble so far plus I have a lifetime warrenty in writing. The price included the re-plumbing, drywall repair & painting. They did a great job. I'm glad I found them.

completely unconcerned about customer service

I called Delta to have my TPR valve replaced on my water heater. It was supposed to be a $75.00 service call. The guy came out and wanted to check the water pressure first. He said that I had water pressure of 70 psi and needed a new regulator. Cost $274. I paid for the regulator. After he left, I looked at the old regulator which said adjustable from 25 to 75 psi. The new one said the same thing. Called to see why I needed a new one at 70 psi if they are adjustable to 75 psi. Woman in office got argumentative and said "nothing can be done until I talk to the manager on Monday". Monday they called and said we will take off the regulator and put the old one back on and you pay $75.00. Huh? Now I have to be inconvenienced a second time after being argued with and waiting all weekend to hear something. Looking at the new regulator, the guy evidently didn't have the right fitting so, he jammed 2 female threaded ends together with a bunch of caulking. I'll need another plumber to straighten this out!
