I purchased furniture from Rudys Nov 2014, almost a week before Thanksgiving, within that week on exactly Thanksgiving day, a house full of family and friends , I sat in the dinette chair that they assembled and it broke, causing me to seriously injure my neck and had to get a neck fusion, today I still get headaches front and back, unable to sleep,
Once filing the claim they stated they had no insurance, after 3 years the insurance that was not there mysteriously showed up.
Last year I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, had chemo for six months and practically lost everything. I tried to settle the case, I was in a situation where I needed the money because of cancer, no luck. An lawsuit was filed and the date for court was Oct. 2018, now Rudy's defense was they never put it together , they only assembled the bed room set, Now does that make sense? no. They Filed for a Summary Judgement on the basisI have to file an appeal on there misrep additionally, I am trying to locate some of the employees that was delivering the furniture, they assembled my entire bedroom and dinette set. Is there any way they could be held in contempt for lying to the judge? If anyone can help me locate in any way or have any advice please tell me, this is so unfair. I was told if I can prove that they did not charge for assembly back then. I am not up here begging for something, I was hurt and suffer everyday, , This happened on Thanksgiving 2014 with all my guests , I have a family to support, All the pain mentally and physically I bare every day , Please help me get my story out, everything I wrote is the honest truth. I had an attorney for 3 years in September a month before I was suppose to go in-front of the judge he said he could not represent me anymore, he filed for the lawsuit and all. I went to my Summary Judgement hearing no lawyer, I had to represent myself. Rudys take accountability for their action. I can be reached at [email protected]

TROUBLE FROM POINT OF SALE
Would highly suggest DO NOT give this place your SSN they lied about the use of it and have lied since... furniture is decent as far as quailty, nothing special for the price.. delivery drivers broke a piece upon delivery and I was promised replacement, 1 month and 3 weeks later, no drawer. Have been given the run around from the owner to the manager Shawn, on why I dont have it yet, and they blamed the mistake on the manufacturer (how convenient). So in a nut shell, I HIGHLY CAUTION all consumers to BEWARE of this place !!!

DON'T BUY from this store!! This company sold me a dining set that a chair broke on the very first day. I spent over $2300 with Rudy's buying my dining furniture. Now three months later I have 3 more chairs that are broken because of poor quality and the store said its nothing they can do. It's furniture manufacturers they use is what they told me. Very poor excuse. I will never buy from a company or recommend any to spend a penny with this store. I'm out of money and management just said sorry, nothing I can do!!!!! Run from this place!!!!

I am sorry about the fact you did not like the rug you selected, Lisa O. We did spend over an hour together in the store as you did select 3k worth of furniture that you were happy with. I could not with integrity, take a rug back that has been in a customers home for several days and then turn around and sell that same rug to another customer as a new item. That would be a prime example of poor customer service. However, I do apologize once again and your feedback has been noted.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DON'T BUY FROM RUDY FURNITURE! I just spent $3k on furniture and accessories and an area rug. The rug I picked out has brown and aqua in it. The rug I received has brown and ugly moss green in it. The store manager, Brett, said I was stuck with it. Once it leaves the store their policy is no returns nor exchanges. I explained again it is the wrong rug, but he kept insisting it is the rug I picked out. This business won't be open for long. I have been there four times and have never seen another customer in the showroom. That should have been a red flag for me.
