I'd give them ZERO stars if I could. They are TERRIBLE! Unreliable, unprofessional! Also were sent to me by 2-10 HomeBuyers warranty. "Repair" did NOT hold up, and when it recurred, I got extensive damage to my home. When called back to fix what they had not done the first time, they put me off for FIVE DAYS, then they NO-SHOWED on the appointment! That was then a holiday weekend, so I couldn't get in touch for 3 more days. Then they said they would not come that day either! "Well, we might can work you in tomorrow." LOUSY WORK, LOUSY SERVICE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! - Oh, and by the way, they now call themselves "Solutions Heating and Air", but don't be fooled. It's the same crappy company.

8/8/13 Solution Heating & Air was dispatched to my home by my 2-10 home warranty company. They told me that I needed a new air handler unit. I told them that the outside unit valves were frosting around the valves. They tightened them up and put Teflon tape around the valves and then told me that I did not have a leak. ???? Really. 8/15/13 they came out to install the air hander and my car was in the way, so they could not do the installation (my mistake). So the next available appointment was on 8/26/13. The office manager Laura was very uncooperative when it came to making timely appointments. They installed a new air handler unit on 8/26/13 and left the heating strips. So the technician told me the next day, they would come back and install the heating strips. I wait almost a half of day waiting on the technician to come back because he said it will take only 10 minutes. After I did not hear from the technician, I called the office. Laura the office manager told me that a technician could not make an appointment and she schedules me an appointment for 9/6/13.

On 8/30/13 in the evening my ac goes out. I called 3 numbers that I had for Solution Heating & Air and emailed them as well. It was 9/3/13 when I was able to reach a Solution Heating & Air employee. I was very upset and disgusted with this company because they did not have an emergency contact number, even though their website states that they are available 24/7. Once I reached the manager Laura on 9/3/13, she tells me that they can’t look at my ac until 9/6/13 and that they would install the heating strips then. On 9/6/13, Solution Heating & Air technicians came to my house and they did not have the heating strips. Now after one month, I still don’t have any ac. Laura then tells me that in the fall after the ac season, that they would call me to schedule an appointment to install the heating stripes. I immediately called my home warranty company and asked them to refer me to another company and I do not want Solution Heating & Air back at my home. Homeowners, beware. If you want your ac fixed and in a timely manner Do Not Call Solution Heating & Air do business as “Strong Heating & Air”.

Note: Two different names but they are the Same company. Check the address and contact number, both company names are the same. Beware!!!!!

very, very dissapointed!

I am noting this complaint, as well as the BBB and directly with AHS Warranty. My condensation pump was leaking alot - flooding my den. Two gentleman came to service my home. The younger gentleman (Jr.) first advised the pump was broken and would need to be replaced. The older gentleman (Mr. Chambers) said it was not borken, just stuck because the top of the pump was not properly fitted causing the float switch to stick. he tested it several times, in my presence and insisted since the pump was making noise, it was working. I told him it does that all the time and that it was broken and was advised i had 30 days to callback with any problems. Nonetheless, they left my home and not even two weeks later i called them again. same problem, only now the air conditioner was making a loud noise too. i explained when i called what previously happened and even advised that I was not happy. Was told they were sending out their "master mechanic". It was Mr. Chambers who checked the pump again, tld me the same after he tested it - it was not broken. even insinuated that the water in the den was coming from my hot water heater. only after i insisted he said "fine, we will order you a new pump". He also checked on how loud the unit was and told me the fan had "shifted" and was rubbing up against something. stated the only thing he could do about that was order a new one and that he would put the order in for it.

In a moment of weakness, I asked Mr Chambers for his honest opinion about the pump. "I do not want you to have to order something that is unnecessary." Although it was of no cost to me due to the warranty through AHS, if it was truly not needed, i didn't want him to do so to appease me. He's the expert, right? Well, hadn't heard from them since about the part. Here we are about 8 days later and my air conditioner started leaking yesterday and stopped working altogether. It is still within the 30 days, I called someone advised they would "look into it and call me back". no one did. i called back and was told they had contacted AHS to dispatch someone else out to my home BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING MECHANICALLY WRONG WITH THE UNIT! It does not work! Are you serious? Very Poor Service...

Promptness

They are not phone friendly and slow to return phone calls. The person answering the phone does not seem to know what is going on and nothing is urgent.
