BEWARE OF THE HIGH SALT CONTENT IN ALL THE FOODS OFFERED HERE!

We noticed some changes for the worse in the Applebee menu offered at this location:

(1) the prices have gone up in the last few months

(2) the menu variety was less appealing, and there is a smaller variety of dishes

(3) THE FOOD - ALL OF IT, INCLUDING SOUPS, APPETIZERS AND MAIN DISHES - WAS SO SALTY WE HAD TO SEND SOME OF IT BACK. EVEN THE SIRLOIN STEAK HAD BEEN BRINED TO THE POINT OF NOT TASTING LIKE BEEF.

The only parts of our meals that was not salty was the steamed vegetables that came with the main dishes, and the cold water with lemon slices. We did not have desserts so cannot comment on these.

Even after sending back the soup and one of the appetizers, we only ate about half of our meals, left restaurant with heartburn and feeling unsatisfied. This shouldn't happen to anyone. It may be that the menu is driven by the very young clientele - but on the other hand NO ONE AT ANY AGE should be subjected to the high doses of salt in this food.

Applebees is reliable and always has good food when I've been there. It's a fun place to go with friends since they are friendly and accommodating.
