As a longtime Martin factory authorized repair center, I have used Keith, and originally his Dad, to repair and care for my Martin guitars. They have both always provided over-the-top luthier performance with their skilled craftmanship, dedication to the instruments, the customers, and the music. Since Keith took over, he makes it even easier for his customers, as he makes a trip to various music stores in the Kansas City area one day each week to pick-up and drop-off instruments so I no longer need to make the trek out to Excelsior Springs. He has recently done Martin warranty repair work on my 50 year oldy D41 and has addressed a minor crack in my much newer J40 before it became problematic. He repairs all instruments, not just guitars, as I have seen him repairing violins for grade schoolers, too. LOL. But suffice to say, if I trust him with my Martins, you can trust him with anything you own!

I had Keith look at some chemical damage to the finish of my Rickenbacker 12-string guitar. He said he could take care of it and based on his reputation, I agreed (not having done business with him before). He and I kept in contact as he told me of his plans to match the famous "fireglo" finish as the entire body did not need refinishing (see pics). He obtained the proper stain from the manufacturer and set out to complete the task of sanding and matching the finish. He returned to me the most beautiful job (see pic) of refinishing I'd ever seen, you couldn't even tell where was refinished! It was excellent. I whole-heatedly recommend Keith for anything guitar-related. Let him look at it first and have him tell you what he can do. I just wish I wasn't moving out of state and I would continue to use him to maintain my instruments. He is a top notch guy to deal with and his pricing is very fair.
