3rd time I have had to call somewhere else because the Doctor is not able to see my pet., or wont be in the whole day. This place is not advised as a pet hospital, maybe a BOARDING facility which they used to be...DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR PET!

I recently have had three very good experiences with Dr. Chris Peterson and her staff. I had a very old cocker spaniel that was having breathing difficulties. After discussing the situation, Dr. Peterson and I came to the same conclusion-it was time to humanely put our pet down. She did it with such compassion for our dog and our family. I know my dog was never alarmed or in any pain. She allowed my daughter and I to be present and say our good byes. Dr. Chris has taken care of declawing my daughter's cat. She was very concerned about the cat's comfort and I appreciated that. My third story is about my son who is away at college. His dog collapsed due to heat exhaustion. Dr. Peterson took his call on a Sunday night and helped him to decide what to do as he is several hours away. Dr. Peterson was able to refer him to an emergency clinic in Wichita. I appreciate the compassion she has shown for our pets. Her clinic is always spotless. I would highly recommend Lawson Animal Hospital to anyone in the area.

I would have given zero starts if I could have. My dog went there and the vet acted annoyed and took me into a room when my dog barked at the cats in their waiting room. Called about my other dog that was about to die and the said they couldn't get me in and said sorry about that. Uncompassionate and rude staff! Don't go here!

Do not use this place. Dr is rarely there and miss diagnosed a serious infection on our dog. When we called back to inform them of problems, doc would not be in. We went to ex spg animal clinic. They said they get a lot of animals from Lawson clinic. They said first off, doc has to be there. As far as their knowledge of animals, who knows. Take your animals elsewhere.

I will not ever go back to this clinic because I've yet to receive any return calls from them even after leaving several messages about a very sick kitten, and they lost all of the information on my dog when I needed rabies shot details for a groomer. They said that my dog had never been there at all even though I had just had her there for skin issues a few months prior! The vet assistant even sat on the floor with my dog to help her stay calm while they were checking her skin, so how could she have never been seen by anyone at Lawson. I do not recommend them at all.
