Services: Bible Study Classes for all ages meet at 9: 30 a.m. Sunday Mornings. Worship Services for Adults, Students and Children are Sunday at 8: 30 and 11: 00 a.m. and 6: 30 p.m. Wednesday evening worship is at 6: 00 p.m. Organized as a mission in the Fall of 1942, Cameron became a church in its own right on June 7, 1948, and has met at its present location at 26th and C Avenue since that time. In fifty years the church had only six pastors, and has grown steadily to meet the changing needs of its very diverse congregation. Bob Jones has been pastor since 1980. A church means many different things to people. Some see it as a building. Others see it only as an organization. To some it is only a series of special programs. In simplest terms, Cameron Baptist is a relationship. That relationship is not to a building, an organization or a program. It is to a person, and that person is Jesus Christ.
