I stayed there for almost 2 weeks. They successfully diagnosed my problems. Actually there is 3 - Bi Polar, Borderline, and co dependency. Started me on meds and counseling. I was released and and treated on out patient. They gave me my life back and thanks for a wonderful counselor I have exceeded what anyone thought I could. While I was in patient there was a couple grumpy nurses but the rest of staff was great. Thanks for helping me remain a productive part of life.

Talliaferro admitted me against my will a few years ago and I was not a threat to myself or anyone else. They did not make sure I took the medication I was given (I spit it in the toilet several times) and the doctor was not good at all. Now my brother is in need of mental health care and they refused to treat him because HE said he was not a danger to himself or anyone else, even though he admitted he attacked my mother and that she had every right to press charges. The woman Stacia who is supposed to be intake case worker sent him away with a smile and told us she had no idea who could actually help him. She was very unconcerned and if he kills himself or someone else, I guess they won't care.

I'd always gone to private hospitals in the past but went here to appease my aunt. Wrong thing to do! All the things I'd heard were true. It's like being in prison. Avoid the place if you possibly can and if you have to go there, God be with you.
