"Why did I become an Episcopalian?" I was baptized, made my Holy Communion and was confirmed in the Catholic Church. Most of my life I considered myself as a Catholic, while I was in the military I was exposed to different religions and found that the Anglican services were very similar to the Catholic services. My family had become disenchanted with the Catholic Church and were looking for a new church when a friend of ours invited us to Easter Service. We feel in love with St. Andrew's not only because we liked the serve but the people there made us feel at home and we have been so blessed to have such a place that does not judge people but opens their doors to all regardless of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, socioeconomic position, physical disability, or country of origin.
