The breast Center at Southwestern Hospital is a rented space from a group. It is not part of the hospital.

And as far as I'm concerned it's the best place in Lawton to have a mammogram. I feel like I'm back in Louisiana because of the hospitality. Boy do I miss that.

They are wonderful from the waiting room to the pictures. Nice comfortable waiting room with receptionist. Magazines to peruse.

They have a small room with a heater, deodorant, powder, lotion on a tiny table and thick gowns for you to change in to before you go through an adjacent door that leads directly into where they perform the test. No watering the halls in a gown

The room where they do the mammogram is as nice with a chair, paintings on the walls and sculptures on the tables. Soft lighting.

So nice.

As you leave after your done, if you didn't get a cookie from the fresh stash on the plate by reception grab one as they give you your free gift( I chose a cute little bracelets with the pink ribbon on it).

This is so far above your average experience I actually don't mind. They have never hurt me there, whereas the other place I went has crush me twice, bringing tears the second time. Go here if you want a nice pain-free mammogram.
