We lived in Texas for years, and Holy Smoke is the closest we have found to real BBQ in the area. Love the brisket, pork, chicken, ribs! Almost every time we go in, the owner is there. He always takes time to talk to you and remember you. The first time we went there, he was kind enough to give us our drinks for free, and later he came over to our table to check on us. One of our favorite places!

Well, I went there twice today, my first and my last! I had never been there so I didn't know the "routine". I went in and waited by the front door and several staff members walked by without a word, so I decided to take a seat, and again staff members walked by without a word. I decided to go and ask a person by the register and learned that's where you order, no signs, and no help! Thanks! Well, I had the pulled pork. The meat was scarce and had a heavy, and I mean heavy smoke taste. It is now 5 hours later and I have had heartburn ever since and now I am very nauseous and every burp tastes (and smells) of smoke and I am not a smoker. I won't be back. If you like to taste smoke and not the meat, then you're at the right place! If you want to taste the meat, go somewhere, anywhere else. I am so sick right now.

By far the best BBQ i've had since i lived in Georgia, real smoked meat, southern style sides and ACTUAL sweet tea. The owner is second to none, good service , good people, good food. What else could you ask for in a BBQ resturant.

It was between Famous Daves, and Holy Smoke. We decided what the heck and give it a try, It was GREAT!!!!! Hands down better than Famous Daves. We will be going back.

My hubby and I tried this place on a whim and boy were we pleased. The brisket was tender (pulled and in a cup), along with succulent ribs. I would hardly call it the best BBQ in town, but certainly a tasty one. We picked up and would recommend the same, since the dining area is limited.
