Provided by YP.comI graduated in the 2015 class from the Layton School. I was in the Master Esthetics program. I completed my program very successfully. I learned a lot and got to work with clients and different machines, learned much about my profession as a skin care consultant. I felt teaching was very fair, my tuition was handled by financial aid, I still have a large student loan that I have heard in recent could be forgiven due to the circumstances as well as more recent ones. I have yet to look into this fully because I am very busy in both personal and professional life with work and deadlines, my loans are still in excellent standing and I will look into this more. I was treated very well and enjoyed my learning and my time there. Sadly, two months after I completed the program and graduated and obtained my state license, I read in the news that the school.had abruptly closed down. I read about the reasons, what happened and sad for the students who got left out in the cold from it. Thankfully, other cosmetology schools in the area were able to accommodate them to finish their programs. I can say I am very grateful I finished up right before this happened. Just to say, I was treated well and with professionalism and courtesy and respect from start to finish. I did however, notice people were suddenly leaving their jobs within a few months before I finished. Student rumor had it something was up or amiss but did not know what exactly.

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend that anyone go to the Marinello Layton campus. They make promises about the education that they are going to give you, and they don’t follow up on their promises. They tell you things just to get you into their school. Their tuition is horribly high. The education is horrible, they go through educators fast. There is a lot of inconsistency. They are always running out of product. The equipment is always breaking and it takes forever to get it fixed. The director is unfriendly and rude, I would say very inappropriate with her attitude and how she handles things.
