As of now, I do not recommend Young Chevrolet out of Layton, UT. This is why: Nearly 3 weeks ago I purchased a 2011 Dodge Avenger. I had been searching for one for quite some time now. I was so happy. I had been working hard to get to this point so I could purchase a newer car for my family. Yeeeee!!

Chase, the car salesman, had made an honest mistake and thought the car was Bluetooth compatible. It was not. They stated they will get the part and have it installed. I also asked if they would tint the windows while it's there. Apparently, my regulator broke while in their possession. Now I have to wait again for parts. Now it's been nearly 3 weeks since I have purchased my car. My patience has worn thin. I called yesterday to check on the status and asked what can be done for the inconvenience they have caused. Chases response was "we're doing you a favor by installing the Bluetooth chip and regulator." Excuse me??!! Now I am highly upset. This is not a good customer experience!!

My husband and I are expecting twins in a few months and realized we needed a van. With a ridiculously tiny budget (which was still about 2-3 times that for our past cars) we've been having a rough time. My husband first spoke to Adam Strong, and we were greeted by Mark (Marcus) Christiansen, who located Adam for us. Adam took us to look, but had several customers already, so handed us off to Mark. After a test drive and some thinking and looking around a little more, we decided to get it. We've never purchased from a dealer before, and we had totally forgotten about things like dealer fees! Mark was awesome. He never made us feel bad, and went back to his manager several times to get us a deal we could manage. He DID. Both Mark and Adam were great to us, and I would definitely recommend either of them to help you find your car!! Overall, I highly recommend the Young Group. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the group as a whole, to Adam for being kind, and to Mark for working hard to help us out!

We met Kent Kaspersky Young Chevrolet and he showed us a car that our son previously looked at and he let us take it for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the car and made us feel good about buying it. The paperwork did not take as long as I expected which was good. Horrible service!!!! They had my car for two months without working on it it sat in the lot until I called daily. The General Manager would not take my calls I left messages daily. There was a complete lack of communication no one could even tell me what was going on with my vehicle! I would not recommend them to anyone. I will never buy a vehicle from this company again nor would I recommend them to you!!!

I had my car serviced a year ago to fix a problem regarding emission testing. It didn't work again this year so I took it back, being told I would at least be paying $100 for the diagnostic. When I came back to get my car they said there was not actually a problem. I assumed I would still be paying the $100 but they dropped that and gave me an emissions test right then for even less than jiffy lube had charged me. It was a great experience. They have amazing customer service and were very honest.

I have my Tahoe and my Silverdo serviced at Young for the last three years, I will not return.

They have raised prices by over 20% on oil change and price quoted for was not price when time to pay, when I told them they said sorry they quoted the wrong price. Price listed for a serpentine is 69.95 and up. They understated the up, my quoted price was 150.00 I will never return to Young Cheverolet for anything Ever!

Jacob was by far the most informative and positive salesman we have had the pleasure of working with! Along with JD, they made our experience purchasing our new vehicle very enjoyable. Usually by the end of the process we are ready to leave, it has taken so very long ... but not here ... not only did they work quickly, but were honest and up front during the entire process. We will definitely purchase a vehicle here again!

Young Chevrolet is a friendly environment to be in, they took care of me and my fiance when we were both in their buying a new vehicle. Jacob and Larkin were constantly on top of things, making sure that I was satisfied with my service, and that the financial part of things will work for you. They got me into a new Cruze that I really love!!!! They have a great selection of cars, and a great variety of banks willing to help you out with getting approved for a vehicle. I give them 5 stars, and would recommend anybody to shop for their cars their! Go see Jacob and Larkin for the best service in town!!

Wow the service I recieved here was amazing! I hate car dealerships and this truly was a non-car dealership feeling to it. I thought my salesman Jacob Sobers was going to pressure me into buying something and he was so willing to take the time even after hours to find us the right vehicle. And his Manager Brad was right there with him helping us every step of the way making sure we had what we needed. I felt like the king of the palace in this place and even after something happened to my car several days after they made sure they took care of us! I would recommend my Grandma to this place and that's Saying something!!!

My wife and I have been in the market for a GMC Acadia or something similar for a couple of months. We know what options we like and which ones that we need. I called and set up an appointment with Dax in hopes of expediting our experience. We arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and Dax wasn't quite ready for us. However within a few minutes he arrived with a Buick Enclave for us to test drive. He took the time to go and find a vehicle that had everything I told him I wanted. It wasn't the right vehicle for us but the effort was appreciated.

He didn't give up that easy though, without being pushy he showed us several other vehicles on the lot. And the one that we really liked didn't have a sunroof. The sunroof is a must for my wife. JD steeped in and offered to put one in it for us. They also replaced a few items that I pointed out. And had a "performance tint" installed on the windows for us.

Tyson over in finance was great to work with. He offered us some "add-ons" with out pressuring us and explained in detail what was covered and what wasn't. He even offered to help us dispute a couple of things on our CR.

To be honest I was very hesitant to even go to Young and look because of past experiences, BUT, now

I can't wait to buy another vehicle from my buddies over at Young.

How this car dealership has an overall rating that isn't a 5 is crazy to me! These guys took care of me through and through. I never felt pressured to buy a car. I never felt like all they were trying to do was make money off of me. Everyone I dealt with made the car buying experience extremely pleasant! I will be buying from Young Chev again. They are the ONLY dealership I've ever walked into I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of. I also wasn't greeted right as I was getting out of my car which was a nice change! Any where you buy a car you will pay money for it so for those complaining about fees and all that. Tell me a dealership that doesn't have fees and isn't trying to make a profit and I'll give you a dealership that probably won't be in business for long. I grew up in Layton Young has been around ever since I was a kid. I am happy to exchange my hard earned money with Young Chev for a great car and great service!

Make sure you get everything in writing before you sign!!! We worked out the final price (out the door - including fees) with the salesman. When we went to sign the paperwork, the finance office adding $600+ in document fees. The sales office backed us up but they were overruled by their management. They also promised us they would get us a second key and FOB (not cheap), but after 2 months and repeated calls, I've had to give up. They lack integrity and there is no genuine service after the sale. BEWARE!!!

After the purchase we found a discrepancy in the price we had agreed upon with our salesman and the actual price we paid. When I went back in to talk to them about it I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The sales managers reply was basically "it was in the paperwork, you signed it, were not changing it." There was no attempt at an apology for the misunderstanding, not even an offer for a free oil change or car wash they made zero effort to try make thinkgs OK. This business only cares about fine print and the bottom line. Once they have your money you can kiss customer service goodbye.
