Joi B. Carter, MD
18 Old Etna Rd, Lebanon, NH 03766
I focus my dermatology practice on skin cancer. In particular, I see patients with rare lymphomas of the skin (cutaneous T cell lymphoma or cutaneous B cell lymphoma) and patients who are at high risk of developing skin cancer due to either a suppressed immune system (organ transplant recipients or patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia) or other genetic factors. I collaborate with other specialists to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care, while I work with my patients to create a skin cancer management and prevention plan that best fits their needs. I am a member of the United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium and the International immunosuppression and Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative which allows me to actively collaborate with physicians who have similar interests. I am grateful to be able to develop relationships with and learn from my patients over time, teach residents and medical students about rare skin disorders, and participate in research to help advance our knowledge within the field of cutaneous oncology.
