their focus is right on. It's not about them, and they know that. They do life well together. They're a group of people that clearly love Jesus and it shows by how they love each other and the community. They actually live like they believe. Aaron, the main pastor, is more like a friend and he's very real. The worship is good. I definately prefer the contemp service, but that's just me. Go and get involved. You'll probably be glad you did.

After my husband and I married, we were in search of a church to join as a couple. We tried several out in Lebanon, but once we visited Southside, it instantly felt like home. The people were warm, inviting, and genuinely interested in getting to know us. After almost five years, I truly know the meaning of having a 'church family'.

I can't imagining going to worship any place but Southside Church of Christ. During college I attended several churches to find a place where I felt I belonged, and when I first came to Southside I stopped looking. The people not only were welcoming and friendly, but they made me feel like I was a needed part of the body right from the start. I am proud to call Southside my church home.





There's a service for anyone depending on how early you want to get up and what style of music you like. There's also a service interpreted into American Sign Language (the 10:30 service).





Southside offers many ways to get involved beyond the Sunday services. There are H.O.M.E. Groups, Boy Scouts, children and youth programs, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Helping Hands (people who help seniors with home repairs), and so many more!





Most of all, I feel like God has helped me to grow closer to Him through my Southside family. I have learned so much while attending here, and I know God is working through me in the ministries I'm involved in. Family and community are important but if God isn't honored then it's not worth it, and I believe that God is truly being honored at Southside.

The Southside family makes you feel welcome from day one. I love that I can take my 8 month old son into the service with me and not only do people not mind when he giggles or chatters, they come up to me after service and say how much they enjoyed him. I could take him to nursery, but I love having him with me and am grateful that I can feel comfortable taking him.
