I am a current resident that called the office of Hunter's Creek Apartments and spoke with a staff member by the name of Nola. The reason for my call was to report nails being exposed on the community park set, which could potentially hurt children playing. Nola was not receptive to my concern and immediately stated that all residents sign a waiver dismissing the complex from being liable for any accidents that happen on the apartment grounds. This information was reported to me despite the fact that I had no accident to report. I was simply calling to make the complex aware of the issue so that they could prevent children from getting hurt in the future. Nola's response was that parents should not let their children play there if they know that it is unsafe. I reported that many parents were unaware that the park was unsafe, which was the reason for my call- to simply communicate. I advised Nola that I would like to speak with her manager, whom she identified as Molly, regarding this matter. After experiencing such lousy customer service, I went to the park area and took pictures of the nails that I was concerned with. Perhaps the complex will be more responsive when they see the pictures on the local news. I will not be renewing my lease with this company, as they don't appear to care about the safety of their residents.
