I have never rented a storage unit before Lakeside Stor & Lock. I am a 22 year old newly wife, mother and 1st time home buyer. We had our belongings in storage here for 6 months while we were buying our 1st home and let me tell you disgusting doesn't even come close to describing not only the manager or our furniture when we went to take it out! I was told they have NEVER had an issue with rodents and our things would be fine. That was far from the truth. I found our things chewed on and had mice urine & pooop all over them. My couches had holes in them and my daughters baby swing,rocker, playmat exc were chewed up and ruined. The mice had chewed a hole in the ceiling and had taken over the whole unit! I signed a paper that said they weren't liable for whatever may happen to my things but as a 1st time storage unit renter I trusted the manager when he said their were no problems with rodents before. To me, he should have told the truth and educated me more when it came to preventative measures for rodents. I did learned my lesson and I hope this review helps someone else pick a different storage facility. One who cares about the people renting the units rather than just the $100 a month from the renters.

Outstanding facility. Very helpful staff. Has FREE Truck they let you use for move-ins.



Have big units too for big boats/RV's or business.
