The food tastes okay. It can be kind of hit-or-miss, but the portions are ridiculously small.



I ordered Mongolian beef and received a silver to go box full to the rim of white crispy noodles with a very small amount of beef and onions on top. I paid $8.50 for a to go container of dry rice noodles! No kidding, a very thin layer of meat barely covered half of the top of the noodles. I also paid $1 extra to upgrade to fried rice and another $1 to add an egg roll. So a grand total of $10.50 plus tax for it. That's ridiculous! I guess I could have tried to take it back, but I know someone who used to work at this place and she told me many times about the male owner's terrible temper. How he would yell and throw things and how he would be to customers who complained. I wasn't eager to subject myself to his abuse.



When I got home I called them and the female who answered the phone laughed at me and said that was how Mongolian beef was supposed to be. No. No it's not. I told her even their special combination plate of Mongolian beef which comes with fried rice and an egg roll for $6.75 normally has more meat than that. Again she laughed and told me beef costs more than chicken.



My advice is to drive a few extra minutes to Trussville where you can get better tasting food, enough food to actually make a meal, and much nicer service.
