The fact that I am taking this much time to write a review should truly speak to you because I value my time and would much rather be doing something else but I hope to save others from the same headaches that I have had to endure. Where do I start? They are terrible. I would say 50% of the employees are actually friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need and if they do help they don't really know much about whatever it is you need. With that in mind I started researching things online about products and then ordering them so I can just go to the store and pick the items up but they are just as bad online. They say your shipment should arrive in less than 7 business days but it took 10.... and it's during the holiday season so I needed it ASAP. Whenever I call in they only have one person at the most taking calls and you have to wait "in line" while on the phone but the bad part is that after you wait for 10-30 minutes they end up not transferring the calls correctly and you have to start all over. Finally, I signed up for their rewards program and have purchased an Xbox 360 ($300), 3 games ($65 per game), and several other little things that cost about $20 here and their. I have yet to receive a single reward.... I called thinking it may have been an error on my end but their was no such error found. Even with my saved receipts they said they could not give me my reward points (which is ultimately money). To try and solve this I created another account and expected better results. I purchased a TV ($400), 2 games ($65 per game), a laptop ($450) and a printer ($250) and still have never seen a single reward... (not to mention, none of my family members or friends have seen any rewards from their large purchases either). This is ridiculous. I feel as though their promotion for reward points are a scam or just false advertising but I feel as though they owe me money! I literally hate this Best Buy and never purchase things from this specific one. The others, I have never had any problems but they need to get their stuff together because I am sure they will lose more and more people because of this poorly ran branch of their franchise. I would recommend doing business with ANY place other than this Best Buy.

I brought my four-year old son...

I brought my four-year old son into this store to exchange a product. While in the store, a store employee was using profanity in a loud voice in front of my son. Then the store manager said that they were out of the product that I brought back to exchange even though I called the store to 30 minutes prior to see if my replacement product was in and they told me that it was. I had no help from the managers, the store employees were inappropriate on the job, and I was not treated like a valued customer. I had very little help from the corporate office on the matter as well. I WILL NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY again. I was treated in a demeaning way. This Lee's Summit Store is a poor example of quality and their store manager was rude and unprofessional to me and my family. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

I am extremely disappointed in...

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received at the Best Buy Mobile Install department. I took my car in to get a head unit installed. The job was supposed to be a 30 minute job. It ended up taking almost 2 hours because the person installing it was with a "friend who he hadn't seen for a long time". He was extremely unprofessional by having his friend there while installing my stuff. However he finally finished it. They are supposed to explain to you how to use your head unit after it is installed, but he never did. This guy who installed it was the SUPERVISOR, who is supposed to be the guy in charge. Well it finally got done, but two weeks later when I finally got around to looking at their work, I noticed a problem. When I had it installed, I specifically asked for the guy to run 3 RCA cables (1 from my subwoofer amplifier and 2 from my speaker amplifier) to the head unit. I got charged extra labor for him to do this job. However, he only ran the cables from my subwoofer amp! If it was someone who had little knowledge about car audio, they would have been robbed! I know about how car audio works, so I was able to identify that I did not get what I had paid for. I expected the guy to complete the job I had paid for, but he didn't. The job was very easy, something I could have easily done myself, but my car's dash is very difficult to remove so I had the so called professionals do it. So after I found this problem, I took my car into the store and told them. At first, everything was fine. The guy working in the mobile install and the manager said that it was their fault and they would fix it. But then the supervisor who had installed the stuff for me came back from break. He said that it was my fault and that I didn't specify what I wanted done. I was extremely disappointed in what happened next. The supervisor began YELLING AT ME. He started shoving his finger in my face and saying that my "expectations were too high" and that I was a customer who just "couldn't be satisfied". He then brought up my past encounters with the Best Buy Mobile Install department. Last year, I took my car in to have them tint my windows. They did a sloppy job, so I took it back and had them do it again. Again, the second time, they did a sloppy job, so I just had them take it all off. I then took my car to another store, paid $50 LESS than what Best Buy charged, and they did a FLAWLESS job. The only reason I took my car to be tinted at Best Buy was because I expected them to do a good job and know what they are doing. When I am paying that much for something, I expect it to be done well. The supervisor brought up how I wasn't happy with the tint and how I am never happy with their work. There is a reason I was not happy with their work with the tint and why I was not happy with their work with the head unit; it is because they DON'T DO THE JOB RIGHT! After I told the store manager that I no longer want the supervisor anywhere near me or my car, the store manager took me aside and talked to me. The store manager recommended that we "no longer come back to Best Buy". Yes, the STORE MANAGER recommended that we DON'T COME BACK to his store! Well I certainly won't ever go back to that store because the customer service is HORRIBLE, the job quality is HORRIBLE and the knowledge of the employees is HORRIBLE. I will be telling everyone with car needs to go somewhere else because Best Buy's Mobile Install department is TERRIBLE.

Don't expect a call-back

I was shopping for a 3x8 multi-switch for DirecTV. I went by the store and was told they were out but were expecting a shipment the next day. I was also told to call before I came by the next time just to be sure it was in stock. I felt this was good customer service. I waited 2 days and called on Sunday. To be fair they said they were busy, but they took the information about what I wanted, they took my name and phone number and said they would call me back. It is now just about noon on Monday. They still have not called back! This is the definition of bad service!
