Provided by YP.comAfter waiting for two hours for the doctor to look at the dog, they wanted to keep the dog overnight to keep an eye on it and give the dog some medications
They wanted to charge me almost $900 for one night stay,
Way overpriced , the way I look at it, they think you have no choice in the matter but to pay ,
I didn't have $900 to pay so I took my dog back home , And I will take him to a vet in the morning
I will never go back to them

Provided by YP.comI just spent $590.00 for these people to tell me that they don't know what is wrong with my puppy and give him a pain shot.
I'm praying it's nothing that will kill him before I can get him into my regular vet on Monday :,(
If I could figure out how to give them a negative rating I would.

Provided by YPmobileI took my chorkie to my regular vet on a Friday. He took exray and said she had bronchitis though she was not coughing or vomiting. Cost $200. I had to take her back on that Monday because she was worse. More test that cost me another $221 and was told she might have a viral infection. Called vet on Wednesday because still not better. He wanted me to bring her back in for IV and upper GI test or needed to get ultra sound. I chose ultra sound and was referred to Blue Pearl. Got there and showed them xray and immediately told me and showed me that she has 2 slipped disc. Gave me meds to help with pain and inflammation. No extra testing needed. Irritated that my original vet could not see that in the xray in the first place. Blue Pearl was an delightful experience. I would recommend anyone who loves their fur baby as much as I do to take them there for any emergency. I can't believe I spent $421 for something she didn't even have. BLUE PEARL was the best place for great results

Provided by YP.comWhen my little buddy, Crystal, a miniature australian shepherd, that I was honored to call my friend got sick one evening, my vet referred me to Blue Pearl. I was treated professionally and politely during my initial visit. When my vet wanted a second opinion and to see both an internist and a cardiologist, back to Blue Pearl I went. Unlike an emergency room in the area, the charges were very reasonable and the work was first rate.
They keep in good communication with your regular vet. One way that you can help them help you is to keep a copy of all blood tests and other diagnostic work done by your regular vet and bring that with you when you need to visit BluePearl.
One night, when she had a reaction to some medicine she was on, I immediately took her to Blue Pearl without a second thought. Unlike some places, where you have to fill out a stack of forms even if you have been there recently, they noticed I had been in recently, acknowledge that and told me a vet tech would be with me shortly and the vet would be see right after I got to the exam room. All I needed was a small bit of medication. The bill for that visit was less than $100. Far less than I was expecting.
In the last few weeks, I had to take her in a few times, trying to help her stay as comfortable as possible until nothing else could be done. When the end came for my little Crystal, they made it as painless as you could hope for. They gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. What really shocked me was that when the end came, no less than 3 different people from Blue Pearl called my vet's office in addition to the fax that is usually sent after a visit to make sure my Vet knew all the details and to be prepared for my visit with them.
I can't say enough good things about the folks at either the Overland Park or Lees Summit locations. When the time comes to have another pup come into my life, Blue Pearl will play an important role in that new relationship. They dont suggest a test or procedure to run up your bill and their profit margin - they only suggest it if they think it will help or give them additional information to help your little buddy get better.

Provided by YP.comNEVER take your animal here if you LOVE them. They are not in it for their love of animals. I wouldn't refer my enemy here if I had one. EVER!!! They don't deserve a star rating but I have to rate them. 0 is appropriate.

Provided by YP.comThey charged me $375.00 for an xray and did nothing to fix my small dogs broken leg. Did not wrap it or anything. Wanted to keep him overnight for $135.00 more. I chose not to leave him there overnight due to the fact that I heard one of the employees there telling animals in back to SHUT UP!!!! Never will I go there again!!!

Provided by YP.comI took my Chow/Husky mix in to see them and they were very attentive to him. They answered all of the questions that I had about his after care. They suggested different ways to give him his medication, ways i would never think of! I will definately take him back there.

Provided by YP.comWe had to take Kain our 8 year old Rott in tonight to have him put to sleep. The staff in the clinic were very understanding and professional. When I was driving home I felt that under the circumstances things couldn't have went better. It was a very peaceful experiance. Thank you very much.
