Jumpin Catfish! The modest southern catfish must have jumped on the popularity bandwagon! All through the South, cotton and soybean farms have been turned into catfish farms where genetically superior catfish are cultivated for size, flavor, and texture. Once mature, they are loaded live from the ponds and released in the processing plant, still swimming. Now ' fresh!

Food was so, so, and service was lacking. Did not measure up to the other Jumpin', I had visited.

When this place opened it was great. Great food, service and atmosphere. Last two times I went the food was cold, portions smaller, staff was very disintrested in my needs more interested in arguing about who's job it was to bring water to the tables. And the floors were dirty, not just with typical dropped food but napkins and silverware. Loss of a great place to eat in my opinion, won't be going back. Tried Turks fish and chicken and was impressed with the food quality and fair prices.

JUMPIN CATFISH

I hadn't been there in about 2 yrs. It wasn't what it used to be. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of old grease. The hush puppies/beans they bring you were still good but I felt like the fried food could have been better. I think they needed fresher grease.
