Provided by YP.comI took my second 1993 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue to this dealership. I have driven them for the past 19 years and always loved them. My second one that I have had since 2013, came with a factory built alarm that caused only headhaches. It sets automatically and gets locked into an "ignition kill" mode once or twice a month and prevents the car from starting. I have to make hundredths of attempts to get the car started. I have to open and close the four doors and open the trunk to try to reset this stupid alarm! (Chrysler should have issued a recall twenty years ago, since this is a common problem with this vehicle) Furthermore, the battery gets drained because of the multiple attempts to start the car and the ligths that flash...A total nightmare. A local garage tried to repair this issue, but they were not able to fix anything. I decided to go to this local Chrysler dealer and asked to please disconnect this alarm for good if possible. I had read a lot of information on the Web, and apparently it was NOT possible to disconnect this alarm and its ignition kill feature. I was very nervous when I came to Lee's Summit Chrysler Dodge Ram. Fortunately I had great communication with the service advisor Jeffrey Snyder who assigned my car to a tenured mechanic. The latter had experience working on these classics: Dan White, the technician was able to disable the alarm for good, resolving a two year transportation crisis. In addition, I cashed in a Mopar coupon lowering my bill to $88. I feel I am driving a resurected car that I was dreading to start....It was just like a Russian Roulette...Thanks to these two men, I love driving my Chrysler that still looks and runs like a new car.

Provided by YP.comWe took our Town and Country van in for repairs we believed would be covered by warranty. The service department charged us $100 for diagnostics and told us the repairs were not covered under the warranty. Took the van to another dealership (the issue was with headlights so it HAD to be fixed) and the repairs were made at no charge to us, as it was all covered by warranty. The second dealership also did recall repairs that we were told were done at LS but were not. Would not recommend this repair department. I find the charges and inability to make the repairs makes them incompetent and untrustworthy.

Provided by YPmobileAgreed to pricing on a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as well as our trade-in. I have all of the emails and texts saved for proof. After triple checking everything was good to go with Derek McGowan we drove in again to swap cars, only to find out he raised the sales price that he confirmed multiple times! Rather than make it right, or at the bare minimum apologize or own up to his actions, both he and his manager (Mike Moananu) let the deal fall through and blamed the other person, even after we showed proof of their offer. Mike said he wouldn't honor the quote given to us and Derek played dumb and claimed he did nothing wrong. My wife is pregnant so we made sure everything was a go prior to taking off work and making another drive in as we didn't want any surprises; since the first time we agreed to buy a Jeep from them they lost the car to their sister branch even after we did the financing and agreed to buy the car. Honest mistake maybe but both times they just wanted us there in person to push for more money, even after agreeing to the new numbers on the 2nd Jeep we tried to purchase. Jonathan in the service department was very nice and professional - he was helping us swap wheels and tires and saw this all go down. He was super nice and helpful, even had his guys stay late to work with us but ultimately the deal fell through after we were pressured to pay more money. All of this to try and weasel another $1000 after they were in the process of putting on the new wheels and tires, and adding to a price we already locked in. I guess they assumed since we made the drive (again) to buy the car they could play with our emotions and get more money; but all it did was upset us and ruin the entire experience. We were frustrated to say the least and wouldn't give into their new pushy sales pitch, and in return they lost out on a new sale and over $4000 in additional revenue with our trade. Horrible experience. Horribly unprofessional way to do business and treat people. I'm in sales myself and this was an extremely insane way to act and/or represent any company. I understand everyone is in the business to make money but don't flat out lie to us and wait til the very last minute to be sleazy. If you go here please make sure they don't try to con you for more money too, as we know they'll surely try.

Provided by YP.comBuyer beware -
I've purchased over 10 vehicles from dealers in KC over the last 30 years and I must say that this is the most unprofessional organization I've ever worked with. I worked closely with the sales manager (Ben) to close the sale which went fine. Unfortunately once I started working with the finance manager things went sour quickly. The finance manager did something very unethical that I won't go into details here. I confronted him the next day about the situation in person and his response was very unprofessional. I told Ben about the situation who was professional, but had no control over the finance operation. He stated I needed to address this with Frank who is the general manager. I've left him three messages over nearly two weeks and he will not return my call. This is the final straw proving once and for all how unprofessional this dealership really is. Although I have remained calm and professional during this whole ordeal, being treated with such a lack of respect is very unsettling. At this point, some people would go into the dealership and cause a scene to get results, however that's not my personality. I would rather share my story with others online to help them avoid this dealership at all costs. The bottom line, if you ever have any post-sales issues, this dealership will NOT be there to help no matter what they tell you in order to convince you to buy a vehicle from them. My advice, find another dealer.

Provided by YP.comThe ABSOLUTE WORST place to buy a car from!!! The actual buying experience was good. But afterwards has been a COMPLETE nightmare! They mistyped our addrress for our title work, then told us it was OUR problem and we should try to hunt it down with local Post Offices. We have had little cosmetic problems with the car and have had to take it up there 9 times now... two of which it was returned to us with nothing repaired on it. There is NO communication between employees, and it seems like dumb is leading dumber. The owner even gave us $100 cash for all of our troubles, which was nice, but after an additional 5 visits of chaos and having to put deposits down on rentals for cars several times while they fix what should have been done the first time.... I will NEVER go back, and neither should you!!!

Provided by YP.comWe were extremely satisfied with our sales experience at the dealership from the moment we started looking to the closing of the paperwork. Our sales rep, David Caldwell, was always positive and eager to meet our needs. We under estimated the success of actually driving home a new vehicle. But David and the rest of the personnel made it possible. This is our fourth Jeep. I would recommend these folks to anyone who is interested in owning one!

Provided by YP.comGreat experience. I have been in the market for a Jeep Wrangler for a while. The dealership was very courteous and patient with my sales experience as I had lots of questions and test drives to make. Will definitely return!

I would like to see some hidden camera bust take place here... I'm not one who rights reviews but this one I have to warn others about. I went to turn in my lease and had everything lined up with another innocent family ready to buy our Jeep so that it wouldn't just get low bid somewhere and end up in a bad place. Kidding aside, this could have been a comedy/horror routine fit for SNL, or SAW 27. For over 4 months I had all the details lined up before going down this path with them (Lease guy to be named later). It all happened so unexpected and before I could say a word-- ALLL promises and communicated details were reneged, or corrected with "well we couldn't really do that" or "we'll work it out"!!! All this after it was sold and the new buyer drives off with it!!
Aftermath... three times they told me and the buyer that the powertrain warranty would be converted if they finance through them (later said it couldn't after buyer already started paperwork---later tacking on a $200 paperwork fee for the buyer that wasn't disclosed), 2) saying they could write a check to me for the difference 6-8 different times prior to coming in and that day on the phone one last time. I was checking and rechecking with them. Now the difference will go to the buyer because they can't write a check to seller, and lowered that profit amount by over $200 just because... I'm not kidding there is no explanation provided yet and I was never asked about it.
Bottom line-- we didn't buy our Jeep from Lee's Summit (where I have lived for 25 years) 3 years ago because of the same song and dance.
Beware!!!!!!
These guys are better than criminals and I would recommend getting something in writing but they will just change that and add a last minute $200 dollar fee or totally change their story as fit for them to make a killing. They completely lived up to their reputation!!! Chris was suppose to call me back and I guess he couldn't disturb the boss who was probably at home watching the golf channel (inside joke if you have been forced to wait on them). Read other negative reviews before buying... Google "Lee's Summit Jeep reviews". The 5 stars are either their employees, family, or they did not care about the extras or bother to read the fine print. Good luck!

Provided by YP.comSo we went in to look at a used car and when I asked how much the car was the sales person said he would go and find out. He came out with the keys and said he didn't check the price. What? We did test drive the car and at the end of the test drive my wife asked how much was the car. So he took us in asked us to have a seat. then he came over with paper work wanting our info to run a credit check and he still has not told us the price of the car. When I asked him why he needed my info to find out the price of the car he said most people don't care about the price they just want to know what the payment is. What? I told the guy I just wanted the price of the car nothing more. Then he said the they send your info to a bank and they try to find a payment that will work for you. Thats funny because we were there at 715 at night, What bank is open at 715 at night? So I told him thank you for your time and started to walk off. He stops me and said he would go get the price of the car, but he went and got the sales manager. What? Once again he never gave us a price and we walked out. Who in there right mind buys a car with out knowing the price of the car. They run your credit and if you make alot of money the car will cost you more than someone who does not. Don't fall for this

Provided by YP.comPlease be aware when you buy a used car from this dealer. The Sales Manager is rude and stated they only do the minimum service to pass state inspection. They don't do any additional work on used cars so you may get a lemon as I did. The day I took the Jeep home, the air conditionaer only worked on high. They did fix that, but 3 weeks later when the Jeep stopped on the road I took it in and it needed $650 worth of work which the Sales Manager said tough luck, you bought a car with 75, 000 miles...what do you expect...He was rude and basically said they don't bring their used cars up to decent condition. I would shop elsewhere if lookig for a used car or have it checked out by someone that cares.
