Provided by YP.comI was seen at this hospital and admitted twice. I had great care from the ER staff to the in hospital doctors and nurses during my several day stay. I would highly recommend. This hospital’s staff goes out of their way to take care of you.
Notice that most of the reviews are way outdated and do not reflect this hospital as it is today!

Provided by YP.comI have had several procedures done at this hospital and was very pleased each time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I highly recommend this hospital. They explain everything they are doing so you understand at all times what is going on.

Provided by YPmobileWent in to the ER for a terrible experience. The day before I was at St Luke's East ER and was told to return if my symptoms worsened. Well, my symptoms got worse and we decided to go to LSMC since it was closer. Sure, my wait time was great-had me back in a room in minutes. But I then sat in that room for 90 minutes without being checked on. No one to check on my pain, no vials, not on any monitors, nothing. The doc was rude and arrogant and very condescending, which was incredibly frustrating as my girlfriend and I are both in the medical field (a nurse and paramedic). The doc discharged me without doing anything, but still collecting my $250 copay, and telling me to, 'suck it up.'
Regardless to say we're back at St Luke's and I got a room in a few minutes and have be checked on frequently. My pain and symptoms are under control and the doc is very friendly.
I wouldn't recommend Lee's Summit Medical to anyone I cared about.

Provided by YP.comThis was my first trip to LSMC and it's safe to say I would not send my worst enemy here. I went in for some stitches because I nearly sliced the end of my pinky finger off(if there are some major typos, that is the reason lol)! I could not agree more with the previous reviews! . I was in a room and 3 different people came in; 2 of which said nothing at all, and when the RN came in I asked her if any one smiles around here and very prompt to reply said "Excuse Me?!" That's when I grabbed my stuff and told her I would rather throw a band-aid on my finger than have her help me in any way. She then, proceeded to tell me that she would be happy to help me... Day late and a dollar short honey... The entire experience was cold, rude, inhuman and the staff seemed very unhappy to be there. You would think they would have some sort of compassion working in a hospital. The only smile i was greeted with, was from some elderly later who was pushing a food cart. I addressed my frustration to the manager and she was very understanding and promised she would get to the bottom of it. Sounds like LSMC has some serious staff issues and I hope they are resolved quickly. Please take my review seriously when thinking of where to take yourself, or family members, to the ER. I can not imagine what a child would feel like if they were placed in the same situation....

Provided by YP.comThe nurses and physicians and staff are outstanding and incredible! I don't agree at all with the other reviews. This will be my hospital for life.

Provided by YP.comI would say to by-pass this hospital. The doctors do not have the knowledge of skill level to treat a person for anything other then a scratch. The doctors themselves suggested a love one transfer to another hospital because they were not prepared or skilled enough to treat them. They also display little sense of urgency for medical intervention and diagnostic testing. Overall, a worthless hospital in my eyes.

Provided by YP.comNot patient friendly at all. Within 30 days of my son having surgery they started threatning collections for a $200.00 bill that I had already made 2 payments on. St. Lukes completly wiped out the balance for my sons earlier emergency room visit. I will always choose ST. Lukes from now on.
