Only because I couldn't not leave a star. Dropped our dogs off here for a week. Within hours out lab got out of the 6 foot high run. Owner called at 730pm did not leave message. AT that point we could have turned around. He called again 830a again no message. Did not recognize number so didn't answer either time. Called again at 1130am. Answered. Said dogs were fine but lab got out and he couldn't catch her. He did put signs up later in day but it was my family that went and found her. Not saying owners fault but he assured me he had dealt with dogs of all kinds and could keep her safe, even after explaining she has never been away from home or with people outside of family and friends that come over. Not equipped or experienced enough to handle big dogs.

Professional! So very comfortable leaving Molly (a rescue dog) who is very insecure and has separation anxiety. Molly, walked right into a new home, with no anxiety. We highly recommend Gold Coast Kennel.

Jim provides a wonderful experience for the dogs and sometimes cats. He grooms them before pickup, keeps them inside during the hot times of the day, and spends 15 - 20 minutes a day of personal time. Both of the dogs that I have had enjoyed their stay at his kennel. All of this at a reasonable price.
